  1. Come my darlings its that time of the year. The touch of fall tastes wind sweet on the desert air. The Harvest precedes the frost and the scarecrows grow active in their migratory phase. Aplenty is abound like the changes of the moon. For wealth cannot be measured in dead metal and electric glyphs. Hark! The Heralds cry! To thy bounty's surplus. Welcome to One and all and thy ambitions The RULES Keep your submission Under 50K Include all appropriate tags at the beginning of the story Horror/ Halloween/Festival theme Original Fiction May your roots draw deep beyond the frost Your pursuers cramp before the butcher’s blade The fairy rings open to hallowed halls. The leaves begin to sing in autumnal hues. Experience is Fall’s true due!
  2. I think the most messed up one I found was Umbridge X Neville.
  3. Never trust any book with a tagline or summary of this would make Lovecraft scared.

Lovecraft is not a viable reference of fear. Man was afraid of Penguins, Air Conditioners and the Welsh.

That’s the truth. My man is afraid of tofu. My dad once screamed like a girl because a cicada jumped on him and he couldn’t get it off. One of my exes was afraid of soap, judging by how he stank, and another told me he was afraid of nail clippers. True fears are nonsensical and don’t make good writing.

But have you seen those air-conditioned Welsh Penguins?  The ancient texts of Tim the Enchanter describe the least of those evil monsters as being fully one hundred times more evil-tempered and bloodthirsty than the Monster of Caerbannog!  The Holy Hand-grenade of Antioch would bounce off, and Niiese Shrubberies don’t even slow them down!

In my experience, making good money is a matter of finding the right opportunities, and writing is a matter of making time.

You can always make time if you try hard enough, but you can't always find the right opportunities when you need them.

I wish you the best of luck.
