I am unable to create an account due to not having a URL? I’m not sure what it means? I’m not looking to write any stories, just read. Very confused??

Are you trying to create an account on the forum? Forum membership is predicated on archive membership, which would be the URL referred to during the forum registration process. Archive membership does not require a URL.
