There’s been bots and users etc for years over on fanfiction.net (and I presume elsewhere) that post stuff similar to this, and those ones are all scammers. Taking advantage of gullible children or vulnerable adults mostly. As this is a registered user of the site I hesitate to cast such an accusation here but, well, let’s look at the facts It’s a 1000 word POS fic I crapped out just to have one on the Lord of the Rings subdomain and because I was afraid if I actually wrote the Galadriel idea I had, she’d get me somehow. You do not want her as an enemy. I’m not sure I’d even be comfortable having her as a friend. Anyway. So putting aside the story’s short length and literally shit quality, we have the review. Positive but utterly generic, and wanting contact off site. It’s not so much that they’re a scammer as it is that we don’t allow soliciting for commissions on AFF. I’m not sure if the new software will actually stop them altogether, or if we’ll have to rely on reports and go from there. But we have much better tools with the new software, which should help cut down on the spamming and scamming going forward! JayDee 1 Quote

It’s more like they didn’t activate into the new system after the password changes, or were not inputting the password allowing for case sensitivity. JayDee 1 Quote
