All I remember is that it's dystopian or post apocalyptic and this scouting group come across a town where they find this other man. He has OCD and doesn't talk, and he has a pet cat which accidentally gets shot, leading to him keeping one of the kittens. Eventually him and the leader get together. Ayato Posted June 23, 2015 Report Share Posted June 23, 2015 I have one more book to write and three to edit before my full attention is on it. But that last book is being elusive so between editing I could write the new chapter and re-smooth a few things and muster the courage to ask my editor. The long and the short of it is that I think about Adaptation every day. I even work on it in between books (because I promised myself I'd reach a certain place in the series before I focused entirely on the Haven series) and days when I'm feeling especially inclined.
