quamp Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Wouldn't insectacide be quicker (Plus not having a swarm of bees after you?) Quote
Guest echtrae Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Wouldn't that depend upon where you lived and what kind of insecticide you were intending to use? Quote
redsliver Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Pretty much, although I recommend DDT, safe and effective, and if it wasn't for panicking hippies it could be sold to Africa and cut down on respiratory diseases immensely. Wouldn't napalm prove more effective than insecticide. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Probably. Do you want to help clean that up though? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Not a chance! Do you think a few governments (not to mention the residents) would have a problem with using Napalm within their borders to kill insects? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Possibly. Think the charred remains of their countryside would upset them? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Most likely. The US government wouldn't care... can't we get them to do it? Quote
Guest WFK Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Probably so. But wouldn't the pesky locals protest via Woodstock II? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 I thought it was more like Woodstock IV. Am I incorrect (probably)? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Maybe... I thought we were at Woodstock III... Is it sad that none of the other Woodstocks have lived up to the first one? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Sad, yes. Unexpected, no. What is with the apathy of our civilization? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 *Shrugs* Why must construction be so loud? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Because the noise let's their foreman know their working? Quote
quamp Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Because it involves taking out frustrations by hitting things very violently. Would society be better if everyone was aloud to beat on something inanimate very violently now and then? Quote
Guest WFK Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Who says you aren't? Norms? I'll give ya that. In the privacy of one's home, what should NOT be allowed I ask? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Anything that injures an unwilling party? Quote
quamp Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 ... And a few other things. So what should our next subject be? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Perhaps something non-emotional? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 I'm all for that. But is there a subject that has no emotional appeal for anyone? Quote
