^ "Good" is a relative term. Yes, I have a sense of humor, but a lot of the stuff I find very funny some people absolutely hate.

< Didn't mind Red's pun, but didn't laugh at it either.

< Has one older sister, and it's been a mixed blessing.

<Knows it's not what you get from a woman, but what you give to a woman that can make all the difference.

V Agress with < on the last < point.

^ the navel lint of humanity

< come from Acadian, Scottish and Irish roots, almost entirely Irish on my mom's side and if you go back on my dad's his grandmother on his dad's side was named white (changed from leBlanc during the Acadian expulsion to Louisianna and Morocco) and White's ancestors were Whites and Goods (formerly leBeau's). If you take back straight father to father, I'm a Johnstone which my cousin John traced back to a Privateer named some Gaelic equivalent of Derek that made a name for himself in the sack of Washington during the war of 1812.

V doesn't know about so much about his family.

^ Thinks < is a guy.

< Knows far too much about her family history and is sure no one wants to hear it all, suffice to say < is of Ukranian, Polish and Russian decent, and hasn't been in Canada that long. In fact < is only first generation born here.

^ Knows much more about their history than < does.

< Knows only vague details. Mother of Irish, English, and Indian descent. (Blackfoot, but I can't be sure. Years since I read the muddled history a relative sketched out for me on a napkin.) Father of German, Irish, and French descent. Husband of Norwegian and Japanese descent. Therefore, any future children of our marriage will be of Irish, English, Indian, German, French, Norwegian, and Japanese descent. Iriengindgerfrenorweiganese. Hmm.

V Actually tried to sound that out.

^ knows < had to at least try to sound it out biggrin.gif

< failed to be successful in sounding it out sad.gif

< is of Irish, Scottish, English, French, German, and Amerind (Cherokee) descent (at least as far back as I've been able to tell) with most of it tracing back to the 1700's on this continent
