^ explosion at fifty

< figures < should be able to hold out past fifty before exploding

v has exploded and is now just a remnant of former self

Posted

^ thinks that < is incapable of controlling <'s explosions

< Can control <'self quite well thank you and won't explode until < is damn good and ready.

V Is now saying "what a load of bullshit"

Posted

^ Control is so overrated.

< Would happily help ^ explode (not in anger, of course.)

< I mean into a fit of joy.

V Thinks that I really mean in another way.

^ practices daily

< used to be far better at it than is now, tends to get too serious about things

v prefers a light and bubbly atmosphere

Posted

^ I like my atmosphere 78% nitrogen, 28% oxygen, 4% trace gases, and 0% pollution, actually.

< thinks breathing without oxygen is suicidal.

V Fan of oxygen in this manner as well.

^ 28% oxygen and we'd all be on fire right now quamp.

< over 77% N2, 22% O2, almost 1% CO2 and trace (which by definition means less than 1 part per ten thousand or 0.01%) gases. Almost all pollutants are trace but that doesn't make them harmless.

V wasn't expecting a science lesson.

^ off a little

< is always a fan of knowing how and why things are working when < is using them, even things like atmosphere and donuts.

V took things apart as a kid to see how they worked but couldn't always put them back together right.

^ Well, I've done both, and I can see some similarities.

<Wires and sodering can get pretty messy. So can gardening. Sometimes, smelly chemicals are involved in both.

V Hasn't heard the song "Gardening at Night" by R. E. M.

^ infrequently listens to R.E.M., prefers Spice Girls

< usually prefers something heavier with an edge

v prefers something they can dance to while listening
