Icelandic Marriage Law - Anyone?

Given that we are an incredibly diverse group here at AFF, I'm wondering if anyone here is familiar with Icelandic marriage law, or might be able to point me to some solid resources.

This is actually for a real life situation, as opposed to fiction, so I'd prefer serious responses. And I'd really appreciate it as well.

I know same-sex marriage has been legal a few years - the current Prime Minister has such a marriage.
