Alright Kids, what pairings do ship?

Personally my favourite ( and a relatively unique, though it is getting more attention) is KakashixNaruto. It seems so unlikely, yet it so turns me on.

Second favourite would have to be KibaxHinata, another not so common, yet getting more attention pairing.

Other pairings I enjoy are SakuraxLee, NejixHinata, ShinoxSakura and NejixSakura.

I'm not into the whole "Yaoi" or "Shounen-ai" stuff. Reason being is I'm a guy. anyway, my favorite pairings are (in order):

1) Naruto x Anko: they seem similar in personality and they look cute together in my eyes.

2) Naruto x Tsunade: so what about the age? Tsunade is the only female that actually knows Naruto on a personal level.

3) Naruto x Kurenai: Kurenai is hot and Naruto is cool. Together they make steam

4) Naruto x Shizune: I don't really know why I like this pairing, but it's cute.

5) Naruto x Temari: Temari's a tempermental blond and so is Naruto... yeah.

Yeah... those are my top five... I mostly like those pairings, but I do like others. I will read Naruto x Sakura fics, but there is only one that is really good out there and that's basically the one that I read the most. I think the whole Naruto x Hinata thing has been over used too much.

Did I mention I hate Sasuke? Well, I do. If in a fic that Sakura likes Sasuke and he gets her, he can have her. Sometimes she's too whiney.

Pairings I hate are (in no particular order):

1) Yaoi: hey, I have nothing against gays, but I just don't like delving into their personal lives.

2) Neji x Sakura: how could this happen?

3) Lee x Sakura: she says it herself, she is creeped out by his eyebrows.

4) Sandcest: NO!! NO!! NO!! I just don't think that Temari would do her younger brother(s).

5) Itachi x Sakura: Itachi hates weaklings so why would he even go after Sakura?

6) Naruto x Ino: Okay, I don't particularly hate it, it just seems unlikely that two people who know almost nothing about each other would get together.

7) Sasuke x Anyone: I hate Sasuke. His character's great and all, he just has a big attitude problem. He is an idiot too. If I could, I would have him put to death. Painfully.

8) Uhmm... I think I covered everything. Yep! I'm done.

As you can see... my list of dislikes out numbers my likes. It makes it hard to find a good fic. But oh well. And another thing... why would girls like Yaoi? I have asked many girls this question and they all said that they think that sex between two guys is gross... but they have no problem with lesbians... hmmm... makes you think, don't it?

From the beginning my fanfic-author-hood, I have been drawn to noncanon pairings. But in Naruto - I must say I adore Sasuke/Naruto.

Yes, I'm a yaoi-fangirl... but not completely.

I do love to read stories that pairs up:

Temari/Sasuke

Tenten/Kankurou.

Tenten/Gaara

Those three girls are my favorite girls in the show. So any unusual pairing with them will do for me..

And with that you can conclude that I don't care much about Sakura or Ino. So I don't read stories with them as the main character.

Pairing people up annoys me, but there are a few relationships I like in my Naruto.

Master-of-Anime has some good ones. Naruto with older women is way funny, if unlikely. Dunno about your dislikes tho? I guess I can see some of them...

Hinata and Shikamaru would be kinda cool. It would be Shikamaru lying around and Hinata asking if he's comfortable and if he would like her to fetch him a pillow or something. Dunno how they'd get together, one would be too shy and the other too lazy to make a move.

Naruto and Temari is fun, even though she is way taller than him. Temari gets like a bonus point for having Gaara as a brother, something bound to create a bit of tension in the relationship. I don't think Temari would be very much into sex on the beach either.

Ah actually there is one I don't particularly like! Itachi! I can't see a guy being all love-dovey after slaughtering his family and torturing his little brother to the point of madness. Rape and abuse? Maybe.

Hello! I'm a yaoi fangirl, and to answer Master-of-Anime I think it's just so much hotter than het, the main avantage being you don't get female stuff in the way of your enjoyment (I don't like yuri at all). But I guess that when you're not interested in guys there's really no point reading yaoi stuff.

My favourite pairing is canon : Sasuke/Naruto or Naruto/Sasuke. I don't mind who's the seme and who's uke as long as the uke isn't overly weak and defenceless.

I also love Naruto-Gaara (and GaaNaru) because I love Gaara, he's so hot and graceful too. I like Kakashi-Naruto too, it's rather cute and not that unlikely (have a look here (edit : sorry I forgot to say it's on chapter 277, gomen > <)) though, of course, the whole "come here Sasuke I'll teach some special technique of mine. On one on one." was pretty obvious lol. I don't dislike this pairing but I don't really care about it either.

About Naruto-Hinata I like Hinata, she's so cute, but I don't know, it's doesn't work somehow . Naruto belongs to Sasuke that's why! Oops sorry, but I read great fics with this pairing so...

I like Kakashi-Sakura too, I find it rather sexy considering I don't find Kakashi sexy a bit and Sakura usually annoys me lol

I find Huygacest interesting, Neji's great and Hinata cute(na, no kidding XD) I also came across some Uchihacest too, it's rather hot, I like it. I'd never thought about Sandcest, anyway I prefer Gaara with a guy. Btw Lee's nice but so not sexy! Some GaaLee fanarts are cute but I don't like this pairing (brrrr thick eyebrows...brrr)

ooo. heh I am not that far yet into the manga. Close but not quite that far (chapter off from that part.) But still I think it is more likely for a SasuNaru or KakaSasu relationship than KakaNaru. But I can dream and write dirty naughty fics about it.

There is so many characters in Naruto and so many to pairings to choose.

Naruto/Hinata

They are so cute as individuals and together. Naruto needs to be noticed and loved and Hinata needs somebody to believe in her and encourage her. I think they cold help one another. Hinata cold calm Naruto little bit down and Naruto could give Hinata more courage and selfesteem. This is my favourite Naruto paring and I really hope it would become a canon.

Lee/Sakura

I hate Sakura, I love Lee but I think they would be good couple. I think Lee just being nice, protective and polite self would be perfect man for Sakura. He isn't the pretties man of Naruto but he would be calm and steady rock that she cold stand on. He would be allways there for her and I think that Sakura needs that. Lee other hand would have important person to protect and love that would give his life more meaning and more self-esteem. Sakura could give Lee more to do than training and keep him form doing anything too risky.

Kipa/Hinata

So cute and there is subtext. If Hinata would give up whit Naruto and notice Kipa. Kipa can be harsh but he can be really careing (read the Saving Sasuke -part). I find this pair cute as haveing romantic or bigbrother-littlesister gind of relationship.

Gaara/Lee

I saw lots cute fanart about this couple. I actually stared read Naruto again (I was just about get Haku to story) just to see if this couple would be eny canon. Well it isn't but it's so cute and they look so good and sexy together. They just work becouse they are so different and they have balance of eyebrows.

Shikamaru/Temari

They have lots subtext. I like this pairing becouse they are so much more mature than rest of teens and that's why able to create a real and long lasting relationship whit sex and perhaps marriage and kids.

Naruto/Gaara

Like my friend said: "If Naruto waren't so hell straight they could be couple. They have so much in common." I do agree.

Hinata/Neji

I like this pairing in fanarts more than in fics. I don't believe in it, I don't want it to happen in canon but it's so pretty.

Orochimaru/Kimimaro or Orochimaru/Kabuto

Works as one-sided. I think Orochimaru is axseksual.

There is pairings that I don't like for reason or other but that doesn't mean I don't read them becouse pearls can be found from ocean:

Sasuke/enyone

I don't like Sasuke as charecter. He does his job but he is very clise. But that isn't the reason why I don't like him to be in pairings. It's just that he writen allmost allways so OoC becouse it seems to be too hard to understand that Sasuke is VERY emotionaly damaged. Hell, he can't even have frienship without blow it up. How he can keep up romantical relationship? He was betraied by man who he loved most (no chan thoughts here, he was too young to think it like that and Itachi is still cold hearted psyco) in early age and his greatest dream is kill. That's not healthy. Sasuke isn't eater that gind of guy that would give sex for acceptance and love. Somebody could rape him but naaaaaah...

Sakura/Naruto

I don't think they could have romanical or sex relationship.

There is more prairings in Naruto that like and dislike but these are ones fell storgest but I can allways but more if I like.

And for Master-of-Anime. Girls find yaoi and slash appealing for different reasons. I'm sure there more than I can give but here is some.

Some females like it same way as straight males like to watch lesbian sex from pornvideo. There is two (or more) sexualy appealing objects doing it and it's satisfying, hot, sexy or something like that...

Many girl like drama, love and boys so what would be better than traditional Romeo and Julia story whit two hot males. Allso some girls seem think that gay guys are girls whit penis so gays have to have all this love triangles and they have to be weepy and femme. I think it's becouse that's how teenage girl fells, all weepy and femme, and it's easier to read and write something that familiar.

Playing whit forbidden fruit is allways been why of youngs. Different times just have different fruits and on of our time are gays. So it can be allso rebellion against parents or society.

It's fun to see dominant males for a change on all bottom. It's not like woman can't be on top but our society see dominant female as a evil bad woman, go to hell. Allso if talk is about rapes major of population don't see a way to a woman rape a man even it's very posible. Plus female reader don't find it hot. They see it confusing to which side should be taken. Girls have learn over years to take allways girls side and to see a woman as a loving mother and a victim not as a cruel raper. So when there is two males there is no bad conscience.

There is allso girls (and boys) that find het and slash or het, slash and fem all as appealing as other. They don't care what gind of pairing is as long it works on thought level, pics or in fic. I, my straight femalefriend, lesbian friend and my littlebro (he's straight) are all this gind of fangirls and -boys but I have all-het-pairings and all-yaoi-pairings fangirls in my friendcircle. It depends on your personalaty, life experience so far and about personal life values (like one Christian friend of mine thinks that being a gay is wrong).

I disacree whit Master-of-Anime and Kiaralana. Being a straight male or a lesbian is not good reason to not read yoai stories. It may be good reason not find a gay smut hot but all fruits aren't lemons in that cup. There is many great (and too many crapy) stories whit gay pairings. These stories give different aspect to find humor and relationships form a fandom. Good ones are as entertaimenting as good het or yuri. Allso they make you notise how gay love isn't that different form straight one that makes life easier.

uhh.... HELLO i'm a guy too n i LOOOOVE yaoi... I'm surprised at your hatred of it. I don't read Yaoi and I have never read a good Naruto Yuri, but I can't say they should all be destroyed.

The pairings I like the most are:

Chouji Ino - This is the most natural easy going of the canon pairs (and it is canon).

Kabuto Sakura - Hard as hell to make work but they just someone complement each other. Kabuto is a lot like Sasuke but without the angsty boring bits.

Naruto Tsunade - Its been mentioned before but Tsunade knows Naruto better than almost anyone else.

Kiba Hinata - Because they are polar opposites.

Temari shikamaru - Temari doesn't go with many others easily, and the same is true for Shikamaru, yet these two work very well together.

The pairs I dislike are:

Itachi - Anyone: Itachi is goal oriented, and unless he has everything he wants or the woman he is with is propelling his ambitions I doubt he'd stay through the afterglow.

Neji - Hinata: mostly cause its incest but partially because I think Neji is to honorable to do anything like that with her which makes Hinata be the instigator and that's just silly.

I have to say Sakura and Ino. I'm more sure about this pairing after I read the "Flowers and Friends" fic than before, cause of how well it was written. It made me see how they would make a good pair. Its just a drag the fic is not completed, but theres my reason why Sakura and Ino are my favorite pairing.

Kakashi/Sakura - Once she's older, of course.

Naruto/Anko - As Master-of-Anime said, they're quite similar in some ways and they could be good for each other.

Naruto/Hinata - It could work. They're opposites, but it's clearly obvious that Hinata likes Naruto and I think they could be good for each other.

Yuri:

Tsunade/Sakura - A fanart turned me on to it. Of course, Sakura would have to be older.

Yaoi:

Zabuza/Haku - The only yaoi pairing I support in Naruto. Hell, one of the few yaoi pairings I like at all. Their relationship was rather touching and if looked at from a certain angle, they could be a couple.

(And anybody that says Sasuke is too emotionally damaged to be in a stable friendship or romantic/sexual relationship with anyone is correct. He'd need craploads of therapy to get over his Itachi-centered bloodlust before he could even think of being with a girl that way.)

I'm yet another yaoi fangirl. I started reading het but it started to lose it's appeal once I fond some good yaoi stories. I like pretty much any pairing involving Naruto, but I lean towards the less common ones. Though that kind of includes pretty much everyone but SasuNaru. I don't mind SasuNaru, but there's a bit of an overabundance. It's like people have no imagination:'(

I'll also read some het pairings still. I don't mind Naruto and Hinata, I read a story once with Naruto and a female Haku that wasn't bad, Naruto and Ino is okay, and I read one Naruto and Sakura story I didn't mind (though for the most part I subscribe to the belief that he's waaaaaay too good for her).

But the one pairing that I refuse to read ever, and if I find out a story has that pairing in it, no matter how minor, I will immediately stop reading, is Sasuke and Sakura. Ugh, I seriously don't understand how anyone would think that is a good idea. Not only do I not see Sasuke going for her, ever, but I'm not a huge fan of her character. She's gotten better but she was a bitch in the beginning that I find it extremely hard to get past that. So even if it was possible that he'd go for her, I wouldn't want her to get him because I don't think she deserves to get what she wants.

That's nice, I'm sure there are stories with Sasusaku that some will like. I'm sure there are some that are very well-written ones, but I personally refuse to read them because I abhor (I like that word ) that pairing and my feelings for Sakura aren't too far above that.
