Still, though. It can be very obnoxious -- I'd be fine with it if we'd get a nice warning. I don't like when characters are grossly OOC, I think it's just bad writing in general. Maybe we should establish a standard practice -- if you're Sue'ing it up, fess up. It might drop your hits, but your number of reviews won't change too much, methinks.

All right, why is it that instead of "Mary Sues", suethors writing for the Naruto fandom find it fitting to change Naruto into themselves? This is especially bothersome as most of these suethors are female. Also, what is the point of the star system if nobody ever uses it for anything but giving a fic 5 *s? NII.

May, I'm a little scared you evaluate story arcs under the assumption it's all about gay sex. Let me inform you sexual preference does not necessarily reflect on one's personality.

Yeah. There ARE good AU fics (I've not re-read what I've said so far in this thread, so...eh.), and though there's no suspense or surprise in them...it IS the ride that counts. And...that wasn't a sex analogy. Sexnalogy. ...um. Anyways. I agree. It is unfair to boycott them all, since there're plenty of good ones, and it is a plot that will never die out. Hm, it seems I forgot to reply to this... ...yes. Anyhow. For fanfics, I'm really only into Naruto. It's not the only show I watch, it's just the only fandom I'm obsessed with. I...don't know what else to say.

Hm, I'm trying to get started + inspired for my long-dead Naruto fanfic, Conditional, and one thing I'd like to do is come up with a chapter title. The original idea was for the chapters to be named after conditions for survival. I've already copped out on chapter 5, "Ripples," but I'd like to start the trend back up again. So far I've used "Weather," "Terrain," "Temperature," and another cop out, "Nocturnal." Anyways. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don't know, I kind of liked the Bleach fillers... *sighs* It's kind of strange that smutty fanfics have better plot than what the filler writers come up with...I guess it's pandering to the kiddy audience, though. The fillers will probably end for the fall season.
