I tend to take things people say at face value, with the understanding that amoung the lies, a great deal of the truth is meshed. One of the convincing arguements she makes is a challenge to fuck anyone on this site who reads her words and mentions them to her. Someone with the chutzpah to say that, must obviously be the spawn of Satan HAHAHA. Sorry, not the "spawn of Satan"! I meant to say, somewhat genuine.

Some elements of her arguement appear genuine. Anyone who takes psychology or sociology knows some of the stories are true, such as the way some cultures sooth their kids. I would shudder to repeat the study done in Java when the tribes were quite primitive and unsullied, (ate each other, head hunters, etc) and had strange rites of passage for young boys.

Another compelling aspect to the behavior she reports is that people who have been "awakened" sexually too soon, tend to "act out" sexually. They cannot tell the difference between love and affection, as her character also seems to.

The only deterent I see to this being fictional is that she posted it under "erotica" and thank God for your sensible words about the lady with the cats who goes to church, because I suddenly had this vision of a naked lady's lap being clawed by many cats while they purred.

I don't know where she said that, I admit I haven't read everything she's written with a magifying glass, but what has she left for identification? Name? Phone number? Address?

If she's left a tangible way to contact her, then what she's written can be taken as a confession and yeah, we could call the authorities on her. That in itself leads me to believe it's bullshit, because if there is one thing Bobbie isn't, it's stupid. Only a stupid person would really bring these things out at an adult fanfiction site and then give ways to contact her so she can verify it. All that proves is that she's well read. I knew that stuff too. I just never found a reason to put it in a story. I once wrote a story about a junkie kicking a heroine habbit that had several people asking me how long I'd given it up, it was that realistic. I've never taken heroin in my life, but I read about the symptoms and thought, "Wow, it's like having the worst flu you ever had, times ten." All good writers can make people believe all sorts of things. The very element of writing is asking people to believe what we're saying, even if it's just for while they're reading.

I call fiction because I cannot believe that someone could have grown up in that environment and basically say that it's all been one big, happy, orgasmic lark, and that she has no regrets.
