CainTheEternal Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I am a Home Theater Customer Specialist.... I see TVs and stuff. At Best Buy. Thousands of possibilties... all of them suck. Get yours! And secretly, I fight crime as Darkwing Duck.
Guest chibi4president Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 I'm a full-time student at Hendrix College, but I have a work-study job filing papers and running errands for an English professor. My current major is world history, but I'm thinking about changing it--again. I used to be a studio art major, but all I wanted to draw was anime and cartoons, not fruit and naked grad students, and there was no illustration course. I plan to get a post-graduate degree, maybe do law school. I have a cosmetology license, and during the summer I work at your average Mama's-kitchen-type salon. I don't get to do anything important. Mainly I wash and perm people's hair, put rollers on, glue extensions in, put aprons on them, and remind them not to scratch their head while the activator's on. Whenever I do get a client, it's usually some old lady wanting a rinse. Heh...once I put dye on some lady's hair and it turned green. What a disaster. Hairdressing is not a gentle career! People will fight you about their hair! That's why I don't do it for a living!
Nanaea Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Six months working in a salon was enough for me. I had my first child and I never went back. *shudders at the memory*
redsliver Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 I'm a full time student, living off government checks. I'm distributions manager for the school paper, which means I get paid 200 dollars and gas to make sure all our advertisers are on the right pages. However I can't afford the insurance that would make my car be legitimately used for business purposes so I have to find someone else to take over my sweet deal and suck it up and go back to waiting tables or being a cook.
Guest arora Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 I sold my soul to the Navy. It got me out of the reasturant i was a dishwasher for and now I fix aircraft. The dishwasher was more complicated and interesting. Maybe i'm just bitter about lossing my soul.
JewelMaiden Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 I'm currently working in my local supermarket working in the Deli counter. Gee look at all my admin training going to waste.
