Feionphylar Posted September 20, 2009 Report Share Posted September 20, 2009 This is an old fic that starts off in Sasuke's point of view grumbling about how worthless Dobe is. How much he can't stand him but he has no choice but to deal with it. They're both on a mission with some other nameless ninjas, far away when they're suddenly attacked. Brutal battle scene follows shortly after and all are dead except Naruto and Sasuke. From the battle they are terribly damaged with Sasuke suffering from a Jutsu that has sealed his eyes and Naruto from something that has left him completely imobile and unconcious. They are later found by these two women who bring them to the safety of their cabin. These women have ninja fighting abilities and offer them safety while they are injured and Sasuke temporarily blind. He still can't open his eyes and Narutp is still unconcious. All is told from Sasuke's POV as he wakes up and one of the women gives him clothes and how he's worried about Naruto. Total change of tune from how he was behaving in the beginning. At some point in the story, Shino and Shino's dad along with Shika and his dad find them. When they do, they find Sasuke sound a sleep with a broken Naruto, leg curled around him clinging to Naruto for dear life. Shika's dad mutters something about their positions and how it was only a matter of time. They rush Naruto and Sasuke to Konoha, and the last chapter I remember is when Naruto starts dying and Tsunade chasing everyone from the room so she can begin surgery on him and Sasuke (who's still suffering from an eye sealing jutsu) starts wondering what's going on as the beeping of the machine goes off. He's frantically asking about Naruto as he's taken away and while no one else will know, he's crying but he says it feels weird because they can't fall from his eyes.
