I’ve had a cup of tea and a nice lie down since my rant, and now I’m feeling more calm. lol  Basically, whatever feels right for you is what you should go with.

For me, it’s definitely the second.  Semicolon’s are much more of a pause than a comma is.  You’re describing a list of things that are directly related to each other, so they belong in the same list.  Semicolon’s – basically just a step up from a full stop - essentially break it up into several, less related items.  Besides, if you’re saying something like “This is my daughter, Evie”, you should always put a comma after the word daughter.  The comma has become unpopular in recent years, for some baffling reason, but comma’s make sentences more readable, not less readable, if done right.  Nothing infuriates me more than a lack of comma’s!

Part of me wants the strong response, and the sane part of me knows that I don’t get sick days.
 

Most people I know who’ve had the immunization didn’t have much reaction to their first shot. Reaction to the second shot varied substantially; I felt a little off for a day, my wife had a fever for 3 days.

And I’ve got a strong immune system, wonder how many sick days I’ll use on it…?

Congratulations! I got my first shot yesterday, and it wasn’t bad at all. But you’re right, let’s see what four weeks brings. 

I’ve heard the side-effects for #2 are worse.

I’m very glad you have an answer now, and I’m hoping that treatment does continue to make a positive difference. I don’t think there’s anything worse than having to live with constant pain. So, gentle hugs from me!  

Very important to know when things are real and not something we imagine. Sorry to hear they don’t have easy way to fix the issue, but medical science advance so who knows what might happen in the future. I hope things will improve for you even in the absence of a cure.

I think mum had THE best comment today… she got a text message while talking to me on the phone, and checked it… then told me that it was the county police department announcing that because of an “intended volcanic eruption...” such and such preparations had to be made… 
I asked her “Intended? Are you sure it said intended? You sure it didn’t say possibly imminent?” 
She then admitted that possibly the message had said Imminent and not Intended volcanic eruption, and that she’d probably just forgot what it said the moment she read it… 
And that folks, is how I knew that my mother has become one with these earthquakes

I have to admit that it baffles me that there are countries where people have only experienced one earthquake    This is the first time I’ve experienced a swarm like this, but one or two earthquakes every other year or so is just normal for me
