    Zelda stories

Blizzaga_Saga has one story up with the pairing you're looking for. Link is in his profile.
  2. not added, no story ready or in progress for it.
  3. as there are other books in the series, it was added as Divergent series
  4. Well, you obviously CANNOT legislate against stupid. However, given that the ease of purchase allows for some real nutjobs to get at the things, something really does need to be done about that. Bans, like any other form of prohibition, make it so whatever the banned item is, it's more attractive to HAVE said item. Whether or not the person getting the item should get it. Personally, I'll never own a handgun. You know why? The recoil of most of them gives me issues in controlling the weapon, and certainly affects my targeting ability WITH the weapon. Mind you, the handgun I learned on was a Colt. I much prefer rifles.
  5. sure, I can get something worked up and posted. That's a good idea, actually.
  6. Cite your source for that information please. I'm curious as to where you've gotten it. Every study I've every seen, using countries where gun control is the norm, shows that gun crimes are far less prevalent.
  7. Extremists of ANY kind are terrible. Left or right wing, doesn't matter
  8. I have no problems with firearms ownership, but I do feel that the industry, and the purchase of, needs to be tightly regulated. It's far too easy for someone who simply isn't suited to gun ownership, to buy one. Not only that, how many people who currently own guns, actually know how to use them, and have the proper respect for the weapon? Instead of looking at it like a toy. The other thing that really bugs me is this upsurge in concealed carry permits. Unless you have a need (i.e. you're a professional, such as a p.i,, a cop, etc) your average Joe simply doesn't NEED a concealed carry permit.
  9. I'll see yer ninja kitty and raise ya a gallumping herd of elephant kitties!! Bacardi is my preference for rum...
  10. I'll check that, because that used to be on there.
  11. Very, very true. I know one of the very first things I was taught for gun handling, was to respect the weapon. Then, I had to learn how to clean and maintain it. When we hunted, it wasn't just for sport, we ate what my dad killed.
  12. This law school article outlines the rulings in the Supreme Court regarding the Second Amendment. As you can see, the language is very broad. However, what it points to (IMO and that of many others) is that this is more to State's Rights, than individual rights.
  13. That would be me!
  14. Story link
  15. These 12 year old girls are being charged as adults They, themselves, stated that this was something they did for "Slenderman" Slenderman is an internet meme The last is honestly the most important, insofar as what both Bronx and I are saying. Those children would not have been so likely to find the meme, and others like it, if their net usage was monitored. Sites of that nature are blocked from the school computers, so that means they would have been doing the reading of it all at HOME. That places the negligence, which led to this crime, squarely on the parents.
  16. If I pinch will I grow one then?
  17. I agree with Bronx 100%. Parents need to take responsibility for the raising of their children in to functional human beings. Not the teachers in school, not the babysitter, or someone else. That job is the parent's job. Children all too often these days, are brought up with an extreme sense of entitlement. You know what? I grew up learning how to EARN things. Not having shit handed to me to shut me up. Given the kind of behavior I see with much younger than me type people in the work place, that's just ONE of the areas where I feel parents are not stepping up to the plate. You don't get your way because you exist. You shouldn't be given things just because you are there. Privileges are earned. That's why they're privileges.
  18. Cthulhu works too
  19. The thing about the Second Amendment is, that it's not so much a guarantee of the individual to bear arms, but a guarantee that states may have armed militias.
  20. The parents DEFINITELY should take a share in the blame, AND the punishment. Perhaps if we start punishing the parents WITH the children, instead of relying on the electronic babysitters, other parents will actually become involved and KNOW wtf their kids are doing.
