I'm in the process of reworking the overall archive architecture as to subcategories and such, so that they are easier to navigate in future.
Anyway, I've got the main subcats down, what I need help with are specific PAIRING subcats that you all see regularly. If you post me a response, please indicate what type of pairing it is as well, understanding I have no knowledge of the fandom. Thanks in advance for your help .

if one more guy talks to my boobs instead of my face I'm going to smack them one
I hear ya. At work (this is about 18 years ago now) had that happen AGAIN, so what I did was put my finger under the guy's chin, poked him so he raised his damn head and then told him that I would appreciate it if he spoke to may FACE and not to my boobs. Needless to say, it embarrassed the hell out of him. Especially because his WIFE was standing right next to him.
LAST year (again this was at work), I had some kid (I can say that, even though this one is in his early 20's) who I can tell you for certain is younger than my oldest son, who asked me "how much to see the twins?". At first I had no idea what he was talking about (had never heard that reference for THOSE before), then he ...urmm.... explained a bit more. Needless to say, I let him HAVE it. Asked him how he'd feel if someone did that to his mother, and pointed out that I am more than old enough to be HIS. At that point, after having a bit of a shit fit, I then threw him out of the store.
Yeah, it gets tiresome when all people can do is look at chest level
and no higher. -
Personally, I'd like to see them make the Silmarillion in some fashion as well. The Elder Days is my favorite part of the whole thing series of stories.
But, if they are really making a movie version of The Hobbit, yeah, I'd love to see more of Mirkwood, and Smaug being the major character HE is, I'm curious to see how exactly they make him look for this.

I figured I'd add to this so no one misunderstands....
This isn't how I choose a moderator. So, if anyone posts to this thread to "apply", the application won't be accepted, as I've never in my LIFE taken open applications for forum moderators.

Only kinds of music I don't particularly like are rap, hiphop, and county. BLECH. I like just about everything else tho.

First of all, there are SOME special circumstances where this is allowable, and in fact done. However, the forum is set up to where one is supposed to have an archive ID to be able to create a login for it.
Say, for example, you've visited the site for a long time and simply don't choose to create a login. I did that for many years myself, so I do understand that. Finally created a login for reviewing purposes only (for those writers who require logged in reviews), as I'm not a writer. In any case, should you want to join the forum, and don't have an archive ID, email me at forums@adult-fanfiction.org with your reasons as to why you REAAAALLLLY don't want an archive ID, and would still like to be active in the board. I'll take it from there.
Otherwise, one can safely assume that UNLESS I know about it, and the reasons why one is logged into forum without an archive ID, that your user ID will be deleted from forum.

When posting your support request, please
for the archive:
- list the archive affected (i.e. books.adult-fanfiction.org)
- tell us specifically what the error is (if the program kicks an error code)
- if the program behaves unexpectedly, please give us a detailed explanation
for the forum:
- list the error generated by the forum
- if the program behaves unexpectedly, please give us a detailed explanation
- if the board behaves in an unexpected manner, please give me details to the behavior.
These are two very different programs, so it will kick different kinds of errors.
As the archive "lives" across different subdomains, it's important to know which subdomain, exactly, you were in when an error occurred.
The more information you provide, the easier it is for us to solve any problems which may occur.

there very likely is some kind of character limit for the reviews block. Unsure of what it is, will check on it for ya.

This is a replacement for the Yahoo Beta group. To my knowledge, no one has any lists of who was in that group (I was as well), or any beta readers who were on any lists that were created in that group. The moderator of this set of forums has rules put up which would be advisable to read. You can find them here. Then, you would post the information requested, and that would be considered your registration as a beta reader.
The forum itself does not automatically email a user when topics are added and/or updated. You have to choose that as an option, by subscribing to a forum or topic. To do this, click the link at the top of the topic you're viewing, or click the link at the bottom of the posting forum. If you subscribe to a topic, you will be emailed notification when it's been replied to. If you subscribe to a forum, you will be emailed notification when a new topic is started, or a topic is replied to.
On the flip side of that, if you wish to unsubscribe to a topic or forum, you go into "My Controls", go to the subscription block and then view topics or subscriptions. You can then select which ones to remove from your subscription list.
