*sighs* You guys misunderstood something methinks. Yes, we are looking to do some integration between two very different versions of software, as to the member tables. However, that may not be something that is entirely doable. Don't know yet, we will have to see. IF it ends being something that can be done, one would be able to use the forum to message and mail while being logged in to the fiction portal, as one would then be logged into both applications. As to replying to reviews in the review board, we have so many OTHER things that just flat out need to be fixed and/or replaced as far as functions, that core usage takes a much higher priority than anything else.

it does not have enough stories to merit its own subdomain, nor does it consume enough enough disk space by itself to require such either. If you look at the menu, it directs the user to different subdomains, all which contain many more stories than 250ish. I don't foresee this category earning its own subdomain for a very long time.

First of all, if any of you find an "orphan" story, i.e. a story with no author listed at all, please post the link in this forum. Guest posting is ALLOWED in the above linked forum, so if you're not registered, no biggie, you can still post what you find. The use of the forum linked to above is primarily for misplaced stories, but orphan stories can be put there too. That way we know about 'em, and can address it. Also, if you see any stories where there is linkage to an author in the story listing, the author profile, and even the first chapter or two, but then it shows no author? Please provide links to those as well. They need to be fixed, and will be. Secondly, I'm going through the user db to find duplicate registrations. There are MANY of those. Most of them appear to be duplicate registrations never used, while the original registration is still used. In those for instances, the duplicate is deleted. However, I've found quite a few where for whatever reason, the user can no longer access their original user ID. In those for instances, what I've been doing is MERGING the old data into the newer ID, where the user is showing activity. In other for instances I'm merging the newer into the older. Again, depending upon most recent activity. Also, those of you who've been merged, will get an email with your password and the user info so you know which one to use to login. If any of you are experiencing problems accessing your archive login, please don't create a new user id. Let us know. We'll be happy to help you so you CAN access your ID. It may take a day or two (email being what it is, and work being what it is for those of us will be handling it), but it will be taken care of.

It's got its own subdomain as I said. http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org. When you are in your author (user) panel, you'll notice the jump menu. It's got these options: Anime Anime2 Books Bleach Buffy Cartoons Celebrity Comics Final Fantasy Games Harry Potter InuYasha LOTR Movies Naruto Non English Originals TV X-Men Yu Gi Oh YuYu Hakusho Select "Naruto" from the jump menu while in your user panel. THEN upload your story.

the thing with generic OTC as compared to name brand OTC, you do have to not only compare ingredients, but compare how much of what is there, is there. Could be whatever you're sensitive to, the equate has more of.

The forum doesn't need to have https access for login and registration. It's highly unusual to set up ANY forum on an ssl server. Those are usually used for ecommerce and other related things.

were you in the naruto archive subdomain? You have to either user the jump menu in your user panel, or the tab menu and be sure you're IN the archive, before you can upload to it.

hehe we're experiencing Level 3 snow emergencies throughout the area now. Which means, unless you are an emergency services type employee you will be arrested for driving. Honestly, it's really not all that bad. But then again, growing up just outside of Chicago, I'm used to WORSE when it starts up like this. We're still under a blizzard warning, and here locally I'd say we've accumulated approximately 7" of snow so far, and the worst snow band hasn't even HIT us yet. So I will probably work 2nd shift instead of 3rd tonight, and have a blast with all the snow. I've been waiting ALL WINTER for a decent accumulation.
