We all have our faults or flaws. What lies behind your mask? What is your biggest character flaw? My besetting sin is hubris. "Hubris: Excessive pride displayed by a character, at times taking the form of a boastful challenge to the gods or other higher powers--often resulting in harsh punishment." Source: http://fajardo-acosta.com/worldlit/glossary.htm When my mother warned me I would probably end up supporting my first husband in an attempt to dissuade me from marrying him, I replied: "I am fully capable of supporting myself and a family." So I wound up with a husband who wouldn't keep a job, lied to me as a habit, cheated on me, and threatened to leave me when our son was deathly ill with an undiagnosed illness. Fortunately, I was capable of supporting my family...just barely. I filed for divorce and moved myself and my sick baby out. I'm still supporting my family...barely. My new husband is handicapped, but he works his tail off trying to help. He would work full time if he could. And he has held the same part time job since well before I met him.

I am here as well. I usually pop in a couple times a day. But, I don't necessarily post unless there's something I'm interested in. Mostly forum games. But I think maybe I'll start a new topic today. Just for kicks.

I wish I were a DD...Mine are ridiculous. I'm a 44 G or H depending on the brand. I haven't been a DD since I was about 12. I haven't seen my feet since the fifth grade, I think. Urgh... I hate Dolly Parton...She was the bane of my existence in 4-6th grades. I think only someone who has never had big boobs would actually pay money to get bigger than a D. They come with back, shoulder, and neck pain, limited choice of wardrobe, and depressingly utilitarian undergarments. I don't want a 'vette for my midlife crisis -- I want a breast reduction. One more baby, then I'm seeing a plastic surgeon!

According to my mother, I was due around Easter, but I arrived a month late. Shakespeare's birthday. April 23. A Taurus. Born in 1973, Year of the Ox. I'm the original bull in the china shop. And stubborn as all hell. The most hurtful thing my mother has ever said to me: "I'm glad I didn't name you Grace." Of course, it's probably just as well she didn't, under the circumstances. It just wasn't in the stars...

I am wondering who changed my title. I changed it just last night...Bye, Bye Naughty points. I am amused. I am contemplating picking another quote for my siggie...

Sexy cartoon characters...Hmmm.... I'm mostly an XMen nut. Love the fuzzy blue elf -- Nightcrawler in both the Evo and Animated versions, though I suppose since I'm thirty four the Evo thing might be a little creepy on my part. The tail and the fur are absolutely fascinating. When I'm in the right mood, Beast gets me going too. Gambit from the Animated series more so than Evo. Probably the accent. I like the voice actor from the older one better. Beast Boy from Teen Titans...Oops, creep factor again. In my mind I'm still a teenager. Females -- Hard to top Jessica Rabbit. Tex Avery's red-head is pretty close, though. I can't remember the character's name...But, I thought Brad Pitt's brunette girlfriend in Cool World was smokin' hot. Black Cat from Spiderman and Friends was hot. And I like Storm from both versions of XMen cartoons. Wanda from Evo -- I like that angry, pouty look for some reason. There was this one scene in Evo where Kitty and Rogue were dancing together and it made me think some very naughty thoughts... I can't just pick one! Ack! O.K. If I have to -- Nightcrawler!

I am keeping the secret of the magic "M" to myself. Muahaha! I am evil. I am wishing I could conjure up a few of those M&M's right now.

I am fooling around on the forums when I should be editing a chapter due tonight. I am trying to ignore the goofy movie my hubby is watching. I am feeling much better now that I've had a nap and a shower...Earlier I was itchy and grouchy. Baby has suddenly started waking up at 1 AM the last few nights.

I have...Twice. I have never been kicked out of a public place.

Whatever the issue was with the PM's appears to have resolved itself for now. I was able to send and receive PM's to those who weren't working before. I wasn't up to my maximum stored messages at any point. I simply don't PM enough for that to be an issue. I haven't gotten any emails from anyone I've missed messages from, so I think that's about it. I'm off to bed now. Should have been there half an hour ago...

I duck the thing then use a broom to herd it toward the cat box. I think I just discovered a better way to deal with that nasty chore! I chuck a carton of eggs...

Because he doesn't want to climb the steps to get inside. Why are blueberries called blueberries, but raspberries aren't called redberries?

Eww! Now I'm all greasy! Wait a minute, I have an idea... ***Grabs a warm ear of corn and smears some of the butter on it.*** Pokes the person below with a buttered ear of corn.

I am waiting for #1 son to finish up putting the dishes away so I can cook dinner. I am listening to my baby whine -- he's sleepy and needs a nap. I am telling my son that I won't put the dishes up for him. It's his job.

Neither have I. Though I have punched someone and that pretty much ended the fight before it could start. I have never had a hangover.

I have made little use of the PM function until lately. So my boxes could not have possibly been full. Most of my messages were replies to persons who initiated the contact. I hit the reply button and was told the person could not be found, yet the messages were mere hours old and their forum profiles were showing from my end as active. I did ask people to send me archive recommendations by means of PM or by email. Most of my PM's were regarding that request. If you sent one to me by PM and you did not receive a thank you reply, then either I did not receive your PM or I was unable to reply to you. I am rather compulsive about such things and would have attempted to reply soon after reading the message. Feel free to email me privately if this is the case, that is why I added my email to my signature I work in an environment where we are reminded on a regular basis that management owns everything and can monitor everything we do on our PC's. Down to the last keystroke, if they should wish to do so. I sincerely doubt this forum software does not allow the administrators the ability to review PM's if they so choose. I should hope they do not, but I have no control over that. I have, and will continue, to treat my PM's with the same care as my forum posts -- i.e. I will assume that someone could be reading them.
