Hi, i have been looking for this one story but havent found it so far. Some of my memories of it might be wrong, as its been a long while since i read it, but hopefully someone will recognize it.
It was about a cat/human guy who was captured by a strong vampire. I think the guy was able to turn into a feline form and also into normal guy. The man was kept captive in the house where the master vampire and his sired vampires lived. I think one of them had long blue hair and was called Blue.
In the later chapters the mansion was attacked by a vampyress, the one that had sired the master vampire.

I can never find this story...can someone give me the link to it?

1st story- It's on this site, it's complete, I think it is 12 chapters long but it could be 13 (definitely one of those two). It's Harry/Draco, it's set after the war. Draco is a prostitute and Harry runs across him in a muggle street/city, he is standing round, Harry hires him and he has to go ask someone for permission. Harry is hiring him for a month, large sum of £'s 10,000 comes to mind, but I'm not certain. When they get to Harry's house, Harry tells Draco to wash that gunk/shit (something like that) out his hair. Draco says that clients or people like it. Harry says he doesn't. First time Harry takes Draco, Draco lies down on his back with his legs spread, but Harry tells him to roll onto his stomach. After this it gets a little fuzzy, Harry and Draco go to a restaurant, (I think they argue) and Harry storms off to a pub and gets drunk he then drives home. Next morning Harry wakes up and he has blood on him, he finds Draco in his (Draco's bed) badly hurt, Harry gets Hermione over to heal him. Harry doesn't remember how Draco got hurt and he has to take a potion. Harry was the on who hurt Draco. At some point Draco finds Harry with alcohol and breaks the bottle. Draco has a scar from an old male client who liked pain and blood. Harry releases Draco early, but he stays. Harry finds Draco in the last chapter and they go on a cruise together.
2nd story- On this site. Very long 20 chapters plus. Harry goes into an alternate dimension/past and gets adopted by an old pureblooded family, he is sorted into Slytherin and his dormmates are Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy (may be some others but Harry doesn't interact with them much). Lucius gets a crush on Harry. Harry is a squall harpy and there is at least one party and Lucius gets invited, although he was lucky to get invited because almost everyone there is of a higher status than him, and almost everyone wants to get married to Harry but I don't think he's called Harry there. I think Voldemort wants him.
Please help me find these.

It's about a boy who gets sent to a correctional facility or something of the like, where he meets a boy named Blood, who pretty much falls in love ( or lust ) with him. Blood is the ring leader type inmate of the facility, and he can make basically everyone do anything for him. He has a friend, I can't remember his name, who is basically in love with him, but Blood never does anything with him until something happens ( his favourite team wins a game or something silly ) and they end up fooling around in a closet.
And that's about all I remember, sorry it's so vague. It was a long story, from a couple years ago, I think, so I'm not sure if anyone will remember it, but I hope someone can!

I can't find a story I read here some time ago.
I remember a lot, but not the title or anything that could help.
This is what I know:
The story is about a boy, student in a world where demons live with humans. There are two districts. H-district and D-district. The boy, I think his name was Pan went into D-district at night and met a demon whose name was Xane if I'm not mistaken. Xane took Pan to his house and the next morning back to H-district because it was dangerous and Pan could have ended up eaten or dead or something. There was some smexing involved when they were in Xane's house, but they didn't go all the way.
After that the demon started helping Pan with a school assignment for Demonology (or something like that) and hitting on Pan. They went to a library in D-district. Pan was somehow special because Xane was an elemental demon, a fire demon and Pan could touch him without burning himself.
If anybody knows where can I find this story, please tell me!

Hey, just a thought....but could there be a system set up where it could take direct credit card info? When i do purchases online I only use Visa Gift Cards since I don't like using my bank card. (My friend calls me silly but that's just how I work.
)I've tried using PayPal and I don't think they like them. I think they work out better since you know the money is definitely there and it's way quicker. Anywho...if anyone has any suggestions where I don't have to use my bank card I'd appreciate it. thanks!
I agree. My preferred way to donate would be mailing a money order to a PO box. I don't use my bank cards for online purchases either.

Um... well, I just Donated and all... Because there's no cause greater than sexual relief and such...
But anyway, the suggestion I was going to make I figured might get you more donations. Say if you showed a list of the members who've donated and linked to their Profiles in your News box, and without showing actual donations, list the in order of highest to lowest? Maybe change it monthly like, "Here are the awesome people who donated this month!"
It would be both a "Hey, donate and you will get acknowledgement" and a small bonus for Donators who would get extra publicity for their donation. And since it would be internal linking, I don't think it would cost any extra.
Just a little thing, but donators do like to be noticed.

No reimbursement is necessary for my tiny copyrighted gems. Not sure if they'll be useful, but what the heck! I had to contemplate this for a minute, though. There is always a danger in posting glowing reviews in a blurb. I mean, I know that yours are all Genuine Glowing Reviews, but this sort of thing is pretty rare. Just be very careful in selections, especially since the reviews will be viewed by random shoppers outside of AFF context. It should bare no resemblence to typical shill reviews.
madlodger is ok to credit any bits of my reviews. I don't mind exposing random readers to quality Harry Potter slash.

Hi... I'm looking for two fics. Haven't read them in a while, and now can't find them...
first one has something about Libellulle.... its suppose to mean dragonfly in french... sry, don't speak that language... the point was, that harry had been held by death eaters and draco had helped him. later on harry defeted voldie, but after that his memorie was whiped clean. he has kids and his wife just died... Hermione is the one who finds him... sry, can't remember more...
second fic... in this story harry and draco get locked in a emty classroom for the night and end up going through some kind of funny light while fighting. when they get out finally, they are alone in the world. they have food and everithing, it's just thet they are the only ones there... they are in a diferent dimension... they end up cooming back, finally and save the world... I remember that the story ends, with Severus (and his partner) and Draco finally finding harry in te parralel universe, where they all are going to live in happily-ever-after...
please try to find the time to look up these stories, if you can remember them...

I am still getting used to the changes. One thing that could be improved on is a width of the Latest Stories field. Right now it looks like its set for 75%. It should be wider; 80% or more would be more practical since the primary goal is to see an actual LATEST list, not to go away to a different subcat.

The LATEST works now, although it looks a bit different.
The story reviews are showing ten at a time as default now, though. I can change it to 30, but its still not enough and this selection doesn't stick from one fic to another. Could we get a View All Reviews button in addition to all changes? I much prefer to see all reviews on one page.

I beta because I really enjoy editing. Strange, I know. I don't have any published fiction, but I've a few worlds and characters created that I may do something with eventually. I'm not in any hurry to use them, and far too self-conscious of their shortcomings to make them public.
Eventually, I would like to turn my creations into a video game. I've always enjoyed designing worlds, and I'd love for my 'readers' to be able to walk around in one of mine.

Link to topic giving you trouble?
It could be that you've set the view for the topic in such a way that it won't show the posts when you look, and the default is to show all the posts when you click a topic. Now, if for whatever reason, you've set your forum default to show "outline" instead of "standard", that will give you the links rather than the posts. So what you do is change the (upper right corner of the topic) display option from outline back to standard.
It could also be that I missed a forum when resetting them all from moderator preview for posts and topics after the upgrade. Since I'd set them that way in the first place pre upgrade because of the spam that the forum was getting in the guest posts/topics allowed forums.
I found it! It is a Options setting to the right of the topic's name. This changes how the entire board is viewed. I was looking for it in My Controls>Board Settings
No idea how my option setting got changed from Standard to Outline in the first place. Outline is crap and messes up with hit count.
It's back to normal now, thank you.

that depends on the coding and what we can do with it, while keeping the database intact. Everything hinges on being able to preserve the old data as well as integrating it into a new software structure. Personally, I find it easier to just go ahead and alpha sort stuff anyway, as far as category names. But that's a "thing" for me.
But, what I'm thinking as well, is because we'll have a new very strong search engine in place when this happens, is that the category names will work as search tags as well. I don't particularly care for multiple categories covering the same pair, kind of redundant. Unless, of course, it's because it belongs AU/AR, Crossovers, or something like that. That's a bit different. Then again, we'll see how it all it falls together once we get to that sub domain for sorting in the first place. It's hard to say exactly HOW it'll all come together, until we're actually working there and really looking at all the data that is there, and how it can be made to work, both with current structure, and for future structure. Because that's also part of it, setting up as much as possible before the software is changed, so it's not difficult to then move the stuff around to where it'll ultimately end up.
Now, going back to character-centric type stuff, that is the ONE thing that kept coming up when I was asking various writers opinions before I made the initial post. And I can also see that by doing it that way, it'll make it easier to do something about the OFC/OMC pair with canon characters stuff, in such a way so as to not overtax the database and/or cause instability in the database. That's the big thing, you know, keeping the database itself stable. With an unstable database, we have no archive.
So, as we work in each area, certain things become apparent when sorting that are going to end up unique to the sub domain we're in, such as character centric in this one in the future.
The threesome stuff will remain as it is, I think, and when we get to sorting it, where it's warranted, a specific threesome+ will have it's own sub sub of the threesome subcategory.
You can actually get a good idea of much of it, if you look at the buffy sub domain. One of the things we've been looking at there, and very seriously considering, for example, is moving all the Angel fanfiction from the tv sub domain to there, as Angel is a spinoff series. But, until we figure out a way to do it across tables and sub domains without losing or corrupting data, it's going to stay the way it is.
Latest updated, or new link shows what's new in the entire subdomain. It has never sorted that list by category or subcategory, but by date and time of update. Whether a new story, or a new chapter. Edits don't count, of course.
Well, I know that AFF is backing up data every night. In my mind, I see a box full of shiny disks going back since the inception. So, if the attempt to transfer data had failed, the site could just go back and restore to a day before. The new software would be in beta after it actually comes out, right? To iron out all potential bugs before turning it into main.
Right now the structure looks like a collection of separate web sites with a central control panel thingy. I can see how it would be difficult to move data from one site to another, but technically, some custom data transfer program should be able to do it. I mean, as opposed to moving data by hand, which is also achievable, even though very time consuming. I am not a programmer, though, so can't help here.
About things like a Buffy site: Why not create a poll about this and invite Buffy/Angel peeps to participate? Tell them upfront that this is for new software development, and the results of the poll(s) will be implemented if feasable, and not if impossible from programming stand point. This is all in the idea generating stage still, right?
Last updated right now is the feature I use a lot. It gives a good feel to what is happening in the community as a whole and I found some awesome fics this way in the subs I don't usually check.

Gay male, 25, employed in the technical writing field for nearly a decade, working on my Master's degree. I'm not very good at brainstorming for new ideas, but I can generally fix anything that's fixable.
Since every author has a different comfort level with editing, please let me know if you're just looking for a grammar and punctuation check, or if you'd like in-depth feedback and suggestions on wording, flow, structure, and continuity.
Preferred fanfiction pairings/worlds
No distinct preferences. My knowledge (and appreciation) of female anatomy is more fuzzy than detailed, though I'm happy to review heterosexual stories if you'd like an objective viewpoint.
I personally read and am most familiar with Harry Potter and video game fanfiction, as well as original slash from a variety of authors.

- Minors (sexualization of, or involvement with, persons under the age of consent)
