Well that's annoying. Fingers crossed it all passes nice and quickly. 

I really wish it would. Doug committed Suicide with a sawed off shotgun this week. Helping his wife clean up is going to be gut churning. I’m so tired of this unpleasant suicide habit happening around me. It’s a sign that America’s going to shit hardcore no matter what the Wall street number crunchers keep yapping.

There's nothing that can be done sadly, so it comes down to ensuring the eyeball itself doesn't die, and just getting used to the change in vision. 
And with my relationship ending recently means it's been a real "I would like to go to sleep and never wake up" kind of time.

Well this sucks. I hope the docs are able to do something, but s’horrible thing to have happen.

Sadly, I can sympathise.  This has been a nightmare 2 months for me and it’s not getting any better.  Now we have to find out why mum has lost vision in her right eye.  Here’s hoping things improve for the both of us!

I am certainly hoping so! My Jeep is still in the shop, so I can’t have any more adventures in landscaping, and as long as the tests come back clean from the daft one’s biopsy, I will be fine.

Happy Birthday!

NYC is like a disease, once you’ve been infected, you can’t get rid of it. lol  And I’ll never have that key lime pie again! 

I find myself missing the extreme cold now, but not as much as I find myself missing NYC.  

Thank you, that’s very kind of you!  It’s been incredibly tough recently, but my birthday was okay, which is good. 

Absolutely horrible.  But if we choose to be positive then you can say that it’s been damaged, not destroyed, and that every century has changed it in some way, so it’s now the 21st century’s chance.

She’s doing round 5 now. She needed a transfusion first, but she’s at least eating which makes my sister feel better. Next week, more testing: PET-MRI and bloods, and the week after that is round 6 of chemo. It’s aggressive treatment for a very aggressive cancer, and she’s staying focused on what matters to her...preparing for an art show.
I love my amazing, talented, brave niece.

I’m so sorry to hear that.  Cancer is just… beyond words.  Fingers crossed everything works out well for her.
