No kidding. There is this little button on the monitor that glows, when you push it the image goes away. What was she thinking? That aside, I think that the school should take some responsibility here at least. They didn't provide the proper protections to prevent this kind of thing from happening. If you can't afford the bill (which I doubt), google has a free pop-up blocker. Come on! It may not be perfect, but at least try. Not to mention, it said that the regular teacher was out of the room. What was he/she doing, and where is his/her responsibility in all of this? I am a full believer in the concept of taking responsibility for one's actions, but this is a little excessive.

Well the pic is from Loveless, my current manga craze. The quote about my mind falling out of gear, came to me when I was trying to fall asleep one night after realizing that I hadn't updated a story in about 4 months and didn't have time before sleep would take me to update it that night. So by way of an apology to my readers, I wrote that as an author's note before the chapter started. The slinky quote just makes me laugh.

Amy McClair is a character that my friend and I created when we were in junior high. This character was based on me, thus I write by this name. Useless Trivia: Ann McClair, Amy's sister, is based on the above-referenced friend.

Well I think they get an ego boost because they justify it by saying that they went through the work of copying/pasting, etc.
