Looks like the 'games' board is still too tucked away for any one to visit. What the heck, I thought I'd repost something I said on a review to the fantastic 'No Control' Mass Effect fic by RedLinesKrutch on the off-chance I could stir up some more love for the franchise here at AFF.

Uh-huh... ...why is that? If I this is some sort of policy I'm not aware of (please explain the reasoning behind it if it is) why has my anime request and numberous other ones been up for weeks, months and even years and have not been removed?

Hey, I think my fic may have been deleted or moved in relation to this one... it seems to have dissappeared today (posted on Sunday) and happens to be a request to do a Lizardman Soul Calibur fic. I haven't received any admin messages about this or anything so just wondering if anyone here knows anything about this

Since the videogame board is never touched by anyone, I thought I better post my shameless plugging of my latest fic here. The fic is a Super Mario Bros one, a serious take on the story of the original Donkey Kong game. Given the distinct lack of any DK/Peach fics I went ahead and wrote one... again spending far too much thought and time on a debatably wrong (but sexy!) pairing. Honestly, who doesn't like reviews? I really think more people should actually write them seeing as how some of my stories have got over 1000 hits and yet they've got less than 10 reviews mostly (with the exception of my Zelda fic). I think we should all make a conscious effort to review every fic we read, even if it's just a simple 'I enjoyed it' review. That way, it'd be easier to be review whores!

Well, we badly need to some new Star Fox stuff. Really, anything imaginative you can do would with Krystal I would read.

It's been my experience that the gaming section here on AFF is one of the least busy, there maybe only one or two new fics in the entire section in a week. Starfox is one of the games that gets very little love here, which I find weird given how furry fans seem to love it in most other places on the 'net. Shame really considering it is one of the few furry games/anime/whatever I like. And given how hot Krystal is.

Subbed everytime. American voice actors just don't take their anime roles seriously enough, and really damage the atmosphere of most dubbed anime.

I agree with Lois and Marge, in the right sort of episodes anyway. Leela from Futurama too. As for X-Men, I never thought the girls would go for Gambit... but I guess he was kind of smooth. Rogue was probably the hottest X-woman for me. Although based of the game series, I think Princess Zelda in the 1980s Zelda cartoons was pretty hot too.

Well, I was debating whether to say anything but since several people have (and I applaud them for doing so) stepped up and been honest I'll do the same: I am a virgin (although any ladies listening in the UK feel free to try and change that ). I've always been pretty good with the ladies; I've been on dates and have kissed a girl, but haven't been able to hold down a decent relationship after breaking up with my first love several long years ago. After leaving school and coming to University, interesting females have been few and far between (and very hard to keep track of because of constantly changing timetables)... one of my biggest regrets is I didn't maximise my chances back in school when I had the chance. But that's enough of my sob-story. Long-story short, I voted 'yes'.

I think there's a thin line between going on too long and doing to much. I think a good sex scene builds up sexual tension mostly on good foreplay, and then when it gets to the intercourse you only need a paragraph or so to finish up well.

I say write what ever you want. I haven't heard of RK, but it sounds pretty popular. It's not prerequisite to write only for shows still on the air, otherwise there'd be no Gundam Wing fiction out there! (if only lol) I wasn't sure if anyone was going to read my Perfect Dark Zero fanfiction, but apparently it's had 760 hits! So, if you have ideas, go for it! I'm sure they'll be a fair few people out there who will read whatever you do.

Man, you guys' reading lists make me look bad. And I'm meant to be an English literature student I've never been a big novel reader. The book I'm currently reading is a Star Trek Deep Space Nine novel Avatar (book one) and the last book I read before that was a Star Trek Enterprise novel called The Last Full Measure. I guess the last book I read before that was Madame Bovary for my course... but I didn't finish it and that was the most of any novel I've read for the course!

Seems like everybody gets ideas in different ways. I too have written something after saying 'I could write better than that!' in the past, but these days it's normally when I observe something interesting it real life that I think could be explored in a story or poem. My writing so far for AFF though normally is inspired by wanting to fill out areas that haven't been covered (my Perfect Dark Zero fiction for example), or if I spot a hint of a potential coupling in a TV show or movie.

Hey, noobie here. I'm male, early 20s, reside in the south of England, I'm a student at Portsmouth Uni. I love videogames and sometimes like to pad out VG characters backstories or possible futures (that sometimes end up as fan fics). I've visited AFF many times, primarily in the VGs section, and now I've decided to write a few fics for the site when I'm inspired enough. Just posted my first fic for the site, it's a Perfet Dark Zero one; check out my thread and story here (feedback appreciated!)
