We've probably got another week before the next chapter at least. I hoping for little fun cabin stuff. Maybe they play Mario Party.
-
Ok. So here's what I see. Joe has left a lot of crumbs for us. First in chapter 29, I think, Jack thinks something along the line of "maybe the next year will be nice and easy." Or something like that. Then he says "if only I had known." How I interpret this, at least, is that we've got a lot more drama/strife/trouble coming at us. However, I'm not sure it will come immediately, or even soon. On that note, one, I don't see Kayla, like I said before, having sex with another dude in a threesome. Or with another dude at all. First, Kayla says basically "with the guys we know? Yeah right." There is no guy besides Jack. Transversely, there is no girl besides Kayla for Jack. So if it were to happen, which is very unlikely, it's not happening soon. There's no guy that Jack and Kayla love like they love Tara. No one they need to "help." And I don't think there that stupid to think that another threesome will solve their problems. Second, I enjoy the fights. I think the way Joe has written them has been great. And I loved the fight with Brad. It was epic. I don't think we're done seeing them yet, either. However, with the "old familiar face" returning, I'm not sure this means a fight is coming. If we're thinking practically, it's probably going to be Brad, or maybe Carson. I'm not ruling out another fight with Brad completely, but with Carson, yeah, I think I am. The point being, a fight so soon. I don't know. I don't think so.

Thanks a lot! Might be a slight twist in the end. Haha, mission accomplished? Again, thanks. I try.

@Mr_Fairplay I like the theory. But honestly, I don't see Jack letting Kayla drift away. Kayla loves Jack. That's why the threesome hurt her so much. She needs time to figure it out, and to understand her feelings. Jack's a fixer, a helper. And he sure as hell will try hard to fix problems in his relationship. He might give Kayla some space for what? A week? That's max. Mor likely 4-5 days. Then he'd really start trying to work it out with her. This isn't a "Kayla is falling out of love" thing, as far as I'm aware. It's a "holy shit, my boyfriend, whom I love with all my heart, just had sex with another girl, whom I also love. But I allowed it, I encouraged and was okay with it first. I'm hurt, but I don't completely understand my feelings about this." Type of thing. There's where I see it coming in. Jack lets her loose for a couple days, then decides it's time to talk. Kayla's had time to think, and she sees it necessary. They decide to talk it out with space, so they go for a walk. The worst thing you can do is comfort or discuss something uncomfortable in an enclosed space, especially a car. Then it all picks up from there.

Thanks, but naw, I'm just a crazy fan-theorist. I thought it'd be fun to bring him back, like you said, the starting of an apology. I did it because it seems to be a fairly plausable theory.

Jack held Kayla for what seemed like hours. Her sobbing subsided, and she held him back. Jack felt his mind clear a little more. He thought back to the fight. Who was that person? Who stopped Jeff? "Hey Kayla?" Jack whispered. "Hmm?" She replied, pulling her self up and pushing hair out of her face. "Who stopped Jeff?" He asked. Kayla actually laughed. "You won't believe it." She said. "I'll believe about anything right now." Jack smiled. "It was Brad." Brad? Wait, what? Brad? No way. "I told you." Kayla laughed, noting the expression on his face. "How?" Jack asked. "He came out of nowhere, really. It was like, I was frozen, I had called the cops, but I couldn't run to you." She looked close to tears again. Jack squeezed her hand. "Then he just, appeared." She gestured vaguely. "He came in and beat Jeff to the ground. Jeff couldn't take it. Swung his knife, but it barley did any damage. Some how he caught you as you fell." She said, looking into Jack's eyes. "Why." He wondered out loud. Kayla laughed again. "He had a change of heart in prison, I guess. He rapped his shirt around your arm and everything. Basically carried you to the ambulance. I thought I was gonna have to fight him for you." She mused. "Wow." Jack breathed. "Who would have thought?" Who would have thought indeed.

Darkness. What? Darkness. Come on. Blank. Work brain! Jack started to wake. He felt woozy. His mind was clouded and heavy. He felt like there was cotton in his mouth. He was laying on something. Come on brain! He fought the haze that still lay over him. Finally, something started to push the haze away. There was a fight. Who was it with? A fight. He worked against the fog. Was it bad? God! Why couldn't he think. Ok. Small steps. What am I doing now? Jack pushed. His mind broke. His eyes shot open. His breath was ragged and heavy. He was in a room. It was dark. Pitch-black? No. There were lights. A faint glow. He looked down. He was on a bed. White sheets, his left was rapped. Wait. A cast? Then he realized. All of it came back. The fight. Jeff. The mysterious figure. Kayla. Kayla! Oh God, Kayla! Jack shot up in his bed. He immediately regretted it. Pain racked his body. There was someone in the room. Sitting. "Easy there, cowboy." A voice said. It was familiar. Soft and comforting, but seemingly ragged around the edges. Female? Jack tried to say something. It came out as a gargle. The person laughed. Kayla. He couldn't forget that laugh. "Guess they put you on some pretty heavy drugs." She said. "Kayla?" His voice was rough and think. "I'm here Jack." She said, resting her hand on his. "You were hurt pretty bad. Doctors said you lost about 30% of your blood. You were lucky. Broke your arm. Loads of stitches, too." "What time is it?" He croaked. "2:35 a.m." "Where's everyone else?" "Home." Kayla said shyly. "I kinda made a scene to stay here. 'Only family members.' They said. What a load of bull. But I got my way." Kayla let go a small smile. He could have sworn she was blushing. "You always do." Jack laughed weakly, immediately regretting it. He groaned in pain. Kayla looked at him with concern. He shook his head. "I'm so sorry, Jack!" Kayla said suddenly. Jack looked into her eyes for the first time fully. They were blood shot, red and puffy. "Why?" Jack asked. "For all of this. Craig, Brad, Tara, Jeff." She started to sob, her eyes welling. "No, no." He said sternly. "It's not your fault." "Yes it is!" She cut in. "If it weren't for me, you never would have gotten hurt so bad. I'm the problem." She started to cry full on. "The threesome, everything! It's because of me." She sobbed. Jack thought. He tried to find the right words. Stupid drugs. Wouldn't let him think clear. Jack reached out his good arm and pulled her close. Kayla collapsed against his chest. The pain told his body to move her away, but his heart said no. "What's wrong with me?" She sobbed, shuddering with heaving breaths. "Nothing. It's not your fault. I'm more at fault than any one." He soothed. "Don't you dare blame yourself." She scolleded. "God! Look at me. In supposed to be strong and I'm crying like a baby." Jack pulled her tighter, ignoring the screams of protest from his body. "Can you forgive me?" She whispered. "I was never mad. I love you." Jack mumbled into her ear. "Then I forgive you. And I love you too." Kayla said. "For everything I pushed on you." "There's nothing to forgive." Jack soothed again.

Jack doesn't have a knife you say? More dangerous and brutal you say? Well ok then... ------------------------------ No, it's not his dick. It's a folding knife. Jack instinctively moves in front of Kayla. Jeff flips it open, demanding Jack turn Kayla over. "The hell will that accomplish?!" Jack asks. Jeff doesn't listen. He's gone crazy. He runs at Jack, slicing his side. Jack screams out. Jeff turns and comes at him again, but this time, Jack's ready. He side steps Jeff and brings down both fists like a hammer on Jeff's back. This sends Jeff sprawling. Jeff swings out one arm at Jack. Jack looks down. Jeff's arm had caught his leg. So had the knife. It was then when he noticed the pain. It wasn't like getting punched or kicked. It wasn't heavy pounding aches. It was red hot searing pain. It stung like no other. Along with that, blood was gushing out. Jack tried to remember something about stopping the bleeding, but Jeff interrupted him. Jeff was up and coming again. Jack moved to a ready stance, but he was hurt. He moved slower. This time, Jeff didn't charge. While he seemed to be disgruntled, angry, and just plain crazy, he still had some sense. He moved slow, then quickly darted forward in the attack. Jack jumped backwards, then attempted to hit Jeff in the side. But the knife caught on his shirt. It ripped through in an instant. Jack's leg shot out and kicked Jeff in the shin, and Jeff stumbled backwards. A thought burst through his clouded mind. Kayla. Oh God, where was she? He looked around. Kayla was standing by his car, it looked like she was on the phone. Good. She looked up. "JACK!" She screamed. Jack turned and threw up his arms, right as Jeff's knife cut into his left arm. This one went deep. To the bone. Jack shot out a fist instinctively and slammed into Jeff's stomach. He knew the pain in his arm was there. He ignored it. But he couldn't help looking. His arm was pouring blood, and he could see the torn sinew and muscle. Thick red drops fell to the ground. Through the red he saw his bone. It was a milky color. He stared. It was too surreal. His mind started to swirl. His eyes failed. But through the din, he heard something. He fought against the haze overcoming him. But a fist slammed into his stomach. That was it. He could barley make out Jeff standing in front of him, holding the knife at his side, grinning like a mad man. I'm going to die, he thought. He fought with all his might to move. He couldn't. He prepared for the end. But it didn't come. A figure came into view. Their fists pummeled into Jeff. Jeff fell. Jack tried to focus. It was no use. The figure seemed to move for Jack. No! He can't. But the haziness over came him. He started to faint. The figure seemed to stick out a hand. Darkness fell. The nothing.

No, it's not his dick. But Jack knows about knife fights. He reaches into his pocket. Pulls out his own Swiss army. Flips it open. "Back off, Jeff!" He commands. Jeff laughs maniacally. Jack lowers his knife to his side. Jeff is attempting wide, stabbing motions. Every one knows that's not how you fight with knives. What a pleb. Jack stabs out, in quick, jutting motions. He cuts Jeff in the leg. The douche recoils in pain. Jack's side is soaked in blood. Jeff is worse. He pant legs are red. He looks up he can't win. "Fuck you, you slutty cunt!" He calls at Kayla. Nope. Ain't happening. Kayla steps up. Slaps Jeff in the face. K.O.ed. Jack and Kayla go back to Jack's car. Kayla demands to bandage Jack. He's lucky. It's only really skin deep. Just a long gash. Having some sort of pity, they go to move Jeff into his car. Jeff wakes up, climbs into his car, and speeds away. "It's all ogre now." Jack muses. "What?" Kayla asks. Jack just laughs. Checks his watch. Shit. 6:45. They climb into his car and speed away. Walk in the door as Jack's mom is setting the table. Home in time for dinner. -------------- That's how I picture a Jack v. Jeff fight going.

I really should go to bed. Later in the summer, back from the cabin. Kayla is still upset about the threesome. In fact, everyone is, really. Tara is still bothered by it, Jack is, and, of course, Kayla is. But they're working on it. Jack is about to go over to Kayla's. his mom calls him in. He steps into the kitchen. "Be home by 7, we're having dinner. You can invite Kayla if you want." She suggests. As if she has to. "What's for dinner?" Jack asks. His mom gives him a look. Jack sighs and walks out the door. As he crosses the gap between he and Kayla's, he looks down the street. Car sitting near the end with a guy inside. Jack thinks nothing of it. Kayla's parents are headed out. Jack and Kayla decide they should go for a walk, because, well why not. Walk out the garage, head down the street. Jack looks back down the other direction. Car is still there. "Hey Kayla-" he starts. "Oh shit, I forgot to close the garage!" She cuts him off, and turns back down the street. Yells something about being back. Jack glances towards the car again. It's moved. Right to Kayla's. Oh shit. Jack takes off. Runs towards Kayla's. Sees the dude pinning her against his car. She's red faced and yelling. Jack is angry now. The guy looks up. Kayla notices. Calls for Jack. "So that's your 'boyfriend'?" The douche(it's what he is) asks. Kayla says something and nods. Douche laughs. Sees Jack getting close. Shoves Kayla in the car. Fuck fuck fuck. Douche takes off. Jack runs to his car, hops in, pulls out. The chase is on. Jack thinks. Who the hell is that? Runs through possibilitys in his rage clouded mind. Must be Jeff. What a tool. Jacks gaining. Kayla seems to be fighting. This slows Jeff down. Jack sees his chance. "Accelerate to ramming speed!" He shouts. His car slams into the douche's. Sends it fish tailing. Jeff is stunned. Kayla climbs out and runs to Jack. Jack jumps out. Jeff gets out of his car. Jack is on autopiolt. Must beat this motherfucker. Charges Jeff. But Jeff isn't your average douche. He's a super douche. Jack has experience though. He slams into the douche. Jeff is winded, but gets a hit in on Jack. It's a heavy one. Jack moves in again, slamming Jeff against his car. Jeff kicks out, smashing Jack in the knee. Jack hops backward. Jeff surges forward. A heavy 'thud' sounds. Jack looks up. Kayla has punched Jeff square in the face. Jack moves again, hitting Jeff in the stoumach and then the chest, attempting what Ms. Cartwright had done. Fails. Jeff is still hurt. He looks at Kayla and Jack. Still has some tricks. He reaches into his pants and whips it out.

Fighting for Kayla... That would be original. I would enjoy it though. The Jeff pipe bomb theory is my favorite right now. Right in front of zombie Walburn, then maybe Mad Brad. In all honesty it'll probably be Brad or Carson. Joe did say "Old familiar face." So it could be from along time ago since he said "old." Also, familiar to who. Jack? Kayla? All of them? So many questions.
-
I noted this in an earlier post. At least the fight. I agree that it's probably not likely, but it would make for an interesting read. Not sure how it would connect to the threesome. Anyway, I'm sorta a fan of this theroy in general.
-
Wait, what? I honestly don't get this. I haven't seen Anchorman. Maybe I'll go watch it.

Five Guys has some of the best fast food burgers. Smash burger is too greasy for me, and most other fast food restaurant just don't compare. I can't quite remember eating at Whataburger, or steak and shake, but I don't think they were that great. However, if you've heard of Freddy's, they have some great burgers. If we're talking cost, it's near the same as Five Guys, but most food is more expensive now a days. Taco Bell has the best bang for your buck, IMO.
-
Haha, thanks! I just fanboyed hardcore. I would be honored. But please don't let anything happen.
-
Yeah, yeah. Unstable force vs immovable object. I get it. Problems exist forever more.

I guess I'll make an amendment.... Meanwhile, a small crowd is still gathered around Jack, Kayla, Craig, and Tara. Tara looks up, realinzing what she must do. "Get around me!" she commands. Jack, Craig, and Kayla form a protective circle around her, fending off the surge of undead. Tara enters into her meditation state. The three who stand guard wonder what she is doing. Her body starts to glow. Her shape changes. She grows larger and larger. She is no longer Tara. She is Walrus Tara! She lets out a guttural roar. The zombies are stunded. Large ivory tusks, gleaming and razor sharp, emerge from her mouth. She burst forth, tearing into the zombies. "You can't take them all." Jack shouts. Walrus Tara lets out a walrus laugh. "This isn't even my final form!" She roars. Another large glow emerges from her and she lets loose another burst of energy, stunning zombies. Her size grows. She is towering, her large, leathery arms smash down on zombies. Kayla, Jack, and Craig look on in awe. Zombie Walburn, his bulk comparable to Walrus Tara, emerges fro the crowd. Tara lets loose another gutteral roar, sinking her tusks into Zombie Walburn. Zombie Walburn grabs Walrus Tara by the tusks and hurls her. She smashes a few zombies, but starts to return to regular Tara form. Kayla runs to her aid. Jack and Craig move to take on Zombie Walburn. An odd closure the sequence of events that led to Craig and Jack standing side-by-side to take on Zombie Walburn. A battle-royal of epic proportions ensues. They hack into Zombie Walburn, finally bringing him down. The zombies roar at the loss of their leader. They go into a frenzy. ...
-
I see what you mean. It probably would have worked out better that way. However, I'm not sure Kayla can hold that over/against Jack. He has just as much a right to be mad about it.
-
It didn't end well. There'll be problems for a while. I said as well that Kayla would be a big point. Of course she wasn't ok after.
-
Thanks! I don't know what sparked me to write it, but I just kinda started.
-
Who else would it, could it, be? The low, droning, moan becomes louder. Jack whirles around. It's zombie Walburn. Not only him, he's leading a group of his fellow zombie teachers and students. It's a zombie hoard. The squad and LAJAK have to act fast. Jack calls out. "Truce?" He questions. Mad Brad laughs. "We don't need you!" He taunts. Jassica looks frantic and says something to Mad Brad. He grumbles, then nods. "Fine. Temporary, zombie-ass-kicking, truce." Jack smiles and runs to his garage, Kayla slips free and runs to hers. They both emerge with tools and weapons. With both sides armed, they prepare for the zombie onslaught. Jack is hefting a large axe, and the rest of both sides hold various sharp, heavy, or blunt tools and objects. The zombie wave approaches. The Squad and LAJAK charge. Jack rips into the front line of zombies. He swings his axe from side to side, cleaving any zombie standing in his way. Kayla stands with him, wielding a large, sharp machete her dad had. Together they whirl forth as one, zombie-killing, being. The others fare decently. They are able to cut down many lines, but fatigue from the fight has come over them. They can only last so long. One of Mad Brad's men falls, the zombies over come him. A cronie of Jessica's is next. There are too many zombies. Jack, Kayla, Tara, and Craig stand surrounded by zombies. The rest of The Squad attempts to rescue them. LAJAK is similarly overrun. Jeff looks at what he holds in his hand. He realizes there is only on way out from this torment. He surges forward into the crowd of zomibes, swinging the bomb like an axe. He starts to draw them away. Meanwhile, a small crowd is still gathered around Jack, Kayla, Craig, and Tara. Zombie Walburn, towering over the rest, emerges from the crowd. Jack and Craig move to take him on. Just then, Jeff shouts from atop a car down the street. The zomibes turn to him. "I've got plenty of fresh meat! Come and get me!" He shouts. The zombies pull back, moving for Jeff. To stunned to react, everyone stares in disbelief. Mad Brad finds his voice. "Don't do it Jeff!" He shouts. The crowd is now surrounding the car. All the zombies are there. Jeff shrugs. "I have to." a blinding explosion sends all of them to the ground. Ash settles, and they look up. The zombies are all gone. So is Jeff. It's all over. They've won. LAJAK gathers up. "We'll meet again!" Mad Brad shouts, before driving away. The Battle of Jack's Lawn has ended.
-
Mad Brad taunts Jack. "Look, Jack and his 'friends.' He won't give himself up, you know that?" He calls to the rest of them. "He's too selfish, he'd rather risk all of you being hurt." The group sees through Mad Brad's lies and tells Jack not to do it. As the tension rises, both sides wait for the other to make a move. Jeff chooses this moment to unveil his "surprise." He pulls out the pipe bomb. Jack and crew(let's call them "The squad" from now on) gasp. "Jeff, where the hell did you get that." Kayla calls in horror. Jeff just smiles. "Your choice." Mad Brad calls. Joe steps up. "Back off Brad! We won't let you take him." "Oh I'm sure you'd love to 'take' him, fag!" He taunts. Joe is ready to explode. Belle barely holds him back. After the fight with Mad Brad, Joe took fighting and martial arts classes to make sure he can take anyone. He's ready to fight. "Oh look, your little ditzy girlfriend has to hold you back." Mad Brad taunts. Joe explodes, and Belle "accidentally" loosens her grip. Joe charges. Seeing that the final line has been crossed, both sides surge forward. Joe and Mad Brad collide, and this time, Joe is ready for the fight. They tear into each other with monstrous blows. Both go super saiyan. Seeing that no one can go near that ball of energy that is Mad Brad and Joe, the rest of each group collides. Jack jumps and rips into Nick. Kayla and the girls take on Jessica and her cronies. Sam, Alan, and Craig go after Mad Brad's men, Ted, and Jeff. Jeff is protected, as they must keep the bomb safe. Jack is able to wear down Nick, as he's not much of a fighter. Kayla personally starts to beat the shit out of Jessica, and Belle joins her. Helena, Tara, and Becca go after Jessica's cronies, and are able to take them pretty well. Jeff surveys the situation at hand. LAJAK is starting to lose to The Squad. He has to act fast. He darts for Kayla, and hits her while she is distracted. Jessica knocks down Belle and they take Kayla hostage. The tides have turned. Joe and Mad Brad continue to tear at each other, massive blows landing again and again. The both roar, at least at super saiyan 3 by now. Mad Brad notices Kayla being taken hostage and takes a cheap shot at Joe, sending Joe sprawling. "Now what will you do?" He calls to Jack, who was helping the guys fight Mad Brad's men. He see Kayla captured and despairs. Right as he is ready to surrender, a moan arises from behind him.
-
Ok, I got it. Brad returns. True to Joe's prediction, he has gotten some sick prison tats. One reads "Die, Joe, die" and the other "I hate friends." And he's mad. Real mad. Very MAD. But it's not only Mad Brad. On his first day back, he stumbles across... Jeff. They hit it off. Brad spills his anger, and Jeff relates his story. Now they're both mad. Not only that. As they walk the streets, they come across... Nick and Jessica! They, as Jesaica forgives Mad Brad, form the LAJAK. "The League Against Jack And Kayla." LAJAK sets out to devise their evil plan. Meanwhile, Jack and friends are hangin at he and Kayla's houses, having a joint party. The Hanigans, have worked through their problems, have gone with the Harrisons to the cabin. Jack and Crew are partying it up(sort of), and enjoying the late summer. Everyone is there, even Amanda and Sam, along with Alan and Helena?(that's her name right), and Tara. Joe comes out of Jack's house saying two cars pulled up in front. Mad Brad, Jessica, and the rest of the crew, including Ted, some of Jessica's cronies, and a few of Mad Brad's juvie buddies, have gotten together to preform an all out strike on Jack and the crew. Jeff had cooked up a surprise as well. They emerge from their cars. They are 12 in total. Jack goes out front to see who's arrived. He spots LAJAK. Mad Brad calls out to Jack. "Surrender yourself and no one else has to get hurt." Jack snorts, wondering what Brad can do about it. But this isn't Brad. It's Mad Brad. Kayla comes out to check on Jack. She sees Jeff and recoils in horror. Jack doesn't recognize him. Kayla point him out. During this time, the rest of Jack's crew comes out. Joe sees Mad Brad and snarls. It's 11 v 12. A battle of epic proportions looms.

You're second post theory? A little far out. This one? I could get on board with this. Jack v Jeff fight! I don't know, Brad's parents told them to stay away. You never know. The pipe bomb... is Nick the guy to do it? He doesn't seem that crazy.
