That moment when you go searching for explicit yaoi manga to read because you’ve developed a sudden addiction, and end up on a threatening webpage, then have to allow AVG to remotely access your machine that’s full of dark slash stories, and are hoping they won’t notice. Frightening. I have learned my lesson. Mostly. At least my internet history was all google searches about “what to do when AVG stops working”

After I lost my hard drive because the virus erased my master boot record and it was unrecoverable, I looked for alternatives to AVG.
That’s how I ended up with Avira for quite awhile. With the advent of Windows 10, I needed to find something as robust as that, which is 360. It’s actually the most robust freebie I’ve found.

It does look really good!
I am feeling positive about AVG now, though hearing a virus got you in spite of it gives me pause. I mean, they could have let me sift through the online forums for hours, like every other company in the world. That’s why my history was full of searches like that. Then, as soon as I clicked the help button in the program, there they were. Can’t fault that to be fair.

AVG is a good program. This one, IMO is better.
