Then write the way YOU want to write, not the way others expect you to write. Writers should always please themselves first before they please others.

Write it how it feels right to you. I know folks will be disappointed in the sex scene for my big project, but frankly I couldn't give a damn. It's awkward and clumsy and tender, just like it's supposed to be, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Grins. I have written some clumsy scenes that conveyed the newness and the emotions well. However, in doing so, I unwittingly made the sex really hot, or so I have been told. ROFL. No worries, I will get through this sooner or later. Just have to get satisfied with it, the hardest part of writing in my case.
