I’m so sorry for the late reply! I’ve been kinda crazy busy with home life/work stuff. 2018 was not a good year for my family. I’m glad to be leaving it behind. I’m really determined to get this story finished this year. Thank you so much for all the comments… I actually think I might start posting it all here again. I kinda overreacted to a stupid thing from a friend and also didn’t want to have to deal with multiple sites… I have been updating on wattpad.

Joana’s story will reveal quite a bit about his mindset, so he won’t be as much a mystery with his motives and why he’s the way he is. It will be kinda dark though... I’m going to get around to it since I have it all laid out… I’m just struggling with writer’s block and some other personal stuff in my life right now.

I will be using inkitt too after doing some editing.

Every once in a while, I try to go to earlier chapters and edit/try to smooth things out that was bad writing. And yuuuupppp Cade mentioned it a few chapters ago, she was pregnant during the December one so she was immune to its affect. Lol we all started somewhere, I’ve been writing stupid little stories since kindergarten. I guess I just always had a crazy imagination. I can’t believe it’s been that long! I’m sorry for the cliffhangers, I honestly don’t mean to do them, but I try to keep my chapters similar lengths, and when I get to a stopping point, it ends up there. I don’t do it on purpose, I promise I’m no sadist! I’m reading some ongoing stories of my own that torture me too.. so I’m trying! And don’t worry.. now that she isn’t resisting, you will get some fluff! Thank you for sticking with me over the years… since I started writing this thing I’ve got my BSN in nursing, started working full time as a hospital, got married, and now working on my MSN o.O dear lord I didn’t realize how long this has dragged out. It started as a side hobby to help me relax. Those other two stories I know are pretty rough, they were my first attempts lol When I got stuck in the Wilds is when I came up with Blood Moon, and it was always meant to be a short story.. but things kept changing as I wrote and it became the beast that it is. It’s a ridiculous amount of pages in word. It’s at 645 now.

I realized I never explained ‘Atarn’ is ‘grandfather.’ And as far as pairings.. I’d love to know who you’re interested in knowing about!! I actually have an alternative universe with these characters (well.. not so much ‘alt’ as original, since before I got obsessed with Spartacus I had a different version) that I have been working on, on and off to finish. It involves one character’s death changing the fate of nearly everyone in the story, including Equeo never losing his wings. Honestly, I could write and write and write until you’re sick of seeing the characters lol I have so much stuff pop into my head during sleepless nights. I wouldn’t be opposed to doing lil single chapters dedicated to certain characters after the fact in an ‘epilogue’ style. As far as publishing, I am actually working on a sci-fi novel I really want to publish. It’s slow going though, but someday! The last part of your review almost had ME crying J Thank you. I pour a lot of myself into my stories and I try really hard to make them relatable even in a fantasy setting. After getting married, had a family emergency ontop of going through some health issues myself, plus working as my first year as a nurse. It hasn’t done well for creativity. So sorry for my hiatus. I got married last Thursday and my life up until the wedding was kind of nuts. I’m glad it’s over! But I’m back now and will be trying to get these next chapters out quickly. NIV: THANK YOU so much for your flattering review! It definitely made my day And yes, I am in the states! California in fact, so Happy Fourth to you too!! I'm working tonight, tomorrow and Tues, so can't do much (night shift) but YAY for time in a half! So I'm not complaining too much lol Believe me, I know how auto correct is I have my fair share of fights with it, I knew whatcha meant! I was kind of wishy washy whether or not to post that.. sometimes I literally have scenes in my head and just type them out for my own sanity, all my side stories are basically just that.. me typing out scenes as they randomly come into my head. Some of that chapter was written back in 2012, and other bits and pieces all along the way. The second part is a little dark, but I got to wait a bit before posting it because it has some spoilers for later chapters in the main story. As for Castel.. I'm glad he came across how I wanted! A good daddy. I actually have a good amount of his story mapped out too.. lol Ugh, I think I can keep pumping side stuff out until the end of time. My brain doesn't let me just make some random side character, I have to have their whole life story in my head as well! As for the writer's block, I don't know what it is with me. Sometimes it flows like crazy, other times I am literally forcing each sentence, and then I hate it all and scrap it. It's happening now with this next chapter in the main story. I can't seem to focus on it.. so I'm taking a break and working on side story stuff for a bit, since that seems to help. It means so much as an author when someone says they can relate to your characters, so thank you! I'm so happy that is coming through the way I intended I try to be as close to real life (with the werewolfy supernaturally stuff) as possible lol I'll be honest, a lot of Cade's material in particular, along with a bit of Joss and Quinn's and a few other male characters have come from things my brothers and fiance have said lol especially while their gaming or fighting with each other.
