Could not agree more if I tried. Reminds me of the Native American theory about the Age of Chaos where the world undergoes a massive shift that causes a lot of folks major grief and headaches. It’s part of the full Black Snake Prophesy stuff. The Age of Chaos is the make or break point for all life on land. So not a pleasant thought.

2017 is a year I’m glad to have behind me. The gods know it was a disaster from start to finish.

LOL DP!  BW – my Twitter was hijacked by some troll in France of all places.  I’ve managed to shut it down but I can’t seem to get it to reset to ENGLISH.  I don’t speak enough French to navigate well.  Why in the name of all that is holy did this schmoo want my Twitter account/email address.  Yes, my address is still attached so I can see it trying to regain control.

Maybe the recent bitter cold forced them out of their caves?

Seems to be open TROLL season everywhere.   Not just here.

Oh, dear… should I ask?

I don’t know how I’d handle truly cold weather.  The coldest winter day time temperature here is maybe 10C degrees, and even then I honestly can’t remember the last time it got down that low.  A 15C degree day is a bloody cold one to me.  So sub zero would probably freak me out.  It would be fun to experience, but probably for a few seconds only, and then I’d be awful keen to find a nice roaring fire nearby. lol

Honestly, this whole conversation is beginning to make me wonder whether Melrick will actually survive his first visit to a snowy, cold place  or if it will just be like, Melrick steps off the plane, gets all the way to the exit of the airport and then just goes, “Nope, fuck this shit, it’s too cold...” and then turns around and goes back home to Hell… ::cough, cough:: I meant, Australia… 

No, I’m saving those for Saturday, when 57F was mentioned on my weather widget. 

Yeah,I’m not a fan of high-handed moderation. We do leave a warning for disclaimers, or email about other issues, and unless it’s something potentially fraught (like missing tags which can be traumatic), we give 7 days before we hide. The we allow at least another 30 days, and to be honest, it’s often more like 45-60 days before we delete for noncompliance.
And if a member comes to us and says they’re trying to fix something, but are having issues, we help them.That’s part of the job, too. I’d rather spend time helping someone than warning anyway. And I love answering questions when people aren’t sure, but want to get it right. That’s never any trouble for me, at all. Best part of the job!

Oh, this wasn’t a jab to AFF! LOL I just reread the ToS of another site I was on and it specifically stated that they had the right to edit/modify story details to fit their guidelines. No warnings, no… nothing. I literally received a message from one of their story editors that my title was not capitalized correctly and they fixed it for me. I know, it’s a small and simple correction but it irked me. I remembered when my disclaimer wasn’t up to par and one of you told me. You didn’t fix it for me or automatically hide my story. 

We’ll even lend you a shoulder when you need it.
