This time, I was successful I tried making The Repair Guy being non-minor, and it started off like that, but toward the end, the plot required me to go to a spot with naked kids, so the tag crept back in.

I know you do some of your own rendering work, but sometimes you get great ideas from the stock sites. And it never hurts to find a fabulous (and free!) background.
Honestly, I have nothing but unstinting admiration for editors and cover artists. They make me look far more clever than I really am.

If you’re not using a cover artist, then you need to think about what sort of imagery best suits your book. Surf the stock photo sites and look at some of what they have out there. You might be able to find a free image that works, or get some ideas from what they have on offer.
