Yup. I blinked and suddenly she's 3 weeks old. Holy moly. I feel like my pregnancy with her is years behind me but obviously it wasn't.

It does go so fast. Before you know it, they're in college and making you crazy... :D

      Shunskitten

She's already driving us crazy! XD

  2. It's been two weeks since Little J was born O_O WHAT HAPPENED?! I'm glad time is flying by closer to when I heal up and when she comes up but that's just nuts!

Before you blink a second time, Great Grandmother shouting at the damn kids to get off your lawn. Basically, don't blink.

LOL Considering my mother is a grandmother at 43 XD and still a mother to two teenagers and two adults! Now I understand everything she said about how us kids grew up too fast!

  3. Just wanna wish my daughter a happy week old! ;A; I can't believe my baby is already 1 week old! I only just had her! I still miss those little kicks inside of me. I even miss the aches and pains that came with pregnancy that I don't have now.

  4. That moment when you find out you have an hematoma, you get it taken care of, told to come back and your mom said she'll take you, only for her to never show up...THANKS A LOT MOM...I NEED THAT GAUZE CHANGED DAILY DAMMIT.

  5. Welp, this past week was very...different. I ended up going into premature labor with Little J and had her 9:15 PM November 25th at 26 weeks of pregnancy. Her placenta ruptured and it left the doctors no choice but to do an emergency C-section. Now 3 days later, both her and I are doing well! She's breathing with a CPAP, and all her blood cultures came back negative so she's no longer on antibiotics! I'm so grateful for my healthy little girl! But man am I sore...OUCH.

Thank you! I got to see her today, I'll update on that in another status!

  6. Had a dream last night. Dreamt of a baby girl with a button nose and bright blue eyes, just laughing and smiling at the newborn stage. She looked like a mix of my husband and I to the point I can't help but wonder if I dreamt about my daughter in the future! The only weird thing was we lived in a cabin meant for summer o_O

  7. Time to do Christmas shopping.

I HAVEN'T EVEN COOKED THE TURKEY DAY STUFF YET!!!!

  8. Can't wait for NaNoWriMo! OAO

  9. Went to the doctor. They looked at every possible way to see if they can find what I tested positive for. Nothing. My ratio is 1 in 74. In other words, out of 74 pregnant women that were told that their baby possibly has Down Syndrome, only ONE will have it. Little J's ultrasounds were PERFECT. There was no sign of the syndrome at all. False positive :) I'm so relieved!

Aw I'm sorry 3: that must have been hard. That's why I will stick to the sonograms myself. So far everything is fine and I'm confident it's a false positive. She's just so active it's funny XD.

That you, sweetheart. And you have the right of it - ENJOY this pregnancy, and you'll be meeting your little J before you know it. Oh, and let your mom spoil you and J a bit. It's what grandmoms do. :D

    4. Shunskitten

      Shunskitten

I'm definitely enjoying it xD everytime I sit or lay down she kicks me, and I love it. My mother is all like, "If I keep this up, you won't have to buy a thing!" BUY M E SOME DIAPERS MOM! And take me out to pizza hut T_T I want pizza hut.

  10. Found out today after visiting my doctor that the chances of little J being born with Down's isn't large at all. At the most, no matter what ratio I'm giving, she only has a 1% chance. This will be further justified tomorrow.

LOL! Oh, love, wait until 2 weeks before your due date. It wasn't so bad the first time, but the second? From the back, I looked like usual, and then I turned around, and people asked if it was twins. :D

My mom did that with her boys :P. She doesn't have Down's Syndrome! :D my chances are 1 - 74.

      Shunskitten

I actually wouldn't have gotten it if I hadn't called to ask why it was taking so long, and THEN they realized, uh, hey, I'm a ex foster child. I'm on insurance~ Making appointments today. I really need that tooth filled...

  18. Fall cleaning has arrived for me B| I will get it done goddammit.

  19. That moment when you learn a family member has lung cancer...and you can't even cry it's so shocking. Hiatus for a week.

Im sorry hun! I know what its like going though this. My grandma has had breast cancer 2 times...I am here if you need someone to talk to

    4. Shunskitten

      Shunskitten

Thanks, we found out she's lost one lung to cancer, she's losing the other, and now she has to go to Boston so they can put this tube in her throat to keep her breathing. She waited 2 years I guess.

  20. All the blood work and samples came back fine, except one. Found out I'm anemic. Oh dear. Another medicine to take >O<

    1. DemonsAngel

      DemonsAngel

Can you get away with just taking an easy to digest iron supplement? That's what we take.

    2. DemonGoddess

      DemonGoddess

The anemia with pregnancy is fairly common. I know that I ended up anemic with all five. You can also add iron to your diet with broccoli, spinach, and some other greens as well as the iron pill.

    3. Shunskitten

      Shunskitten

I was actually anemic before my pregnancy, but I had stopped taking my iron supplements 6 years ago, and was fine, but it came back. I'm definitely on Iron supplement, thankfully it's not big, like my prenatal is. And definitely DG, my mother had it with two of her five pregnancies (only the girls though o_o) and I've incorporated as many greens as I can into my diet, along with water. Though I'm more glad that my glucose came back negative!

  21. Mom bought me 6 items of clothing, all loose and comfortable for my pregnancy. I can't help but feel special and doted on, but I now know my sister is a bit...depressed. She feels massively left out. Time to figure out things to do together. Didn't mean to make her feel like that >_<

  22. Alrighty. They did an official ultrasound with a more accurate due date and how far I am. As of now, and forever, I am 10 weeks and 2 days along, and my due date is March 2nd! Which just happens to be my mother in laws birthday!

    1. GeorgeGlass

      GeorgeGlass

Kittens having kittens. There's a public service announcement in this somewhere.

  23. Had an ultrasound today. Found out that I'm actually 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant. O_O I really thought I was just 7. Oh and I got to hear my baby's heartbeat! I cried like a fool upon hearing it, and the doctor didn't even bat an eyelash. Me thinks he's used to it XD.

::hugs:: It's an amazing moment, and you never really forget it. :D

      Shunskitten

*Hugs back* I'm so excited! When he asked if I wanted to hear it, I didn't think I hear much, but the minute that sound filled the room I started to cry. I'm so happy to know my baby is healthy and that there is a heartbeat! :D

  24. That moment when your brother tells you he's evicted, and yet, you know he's not the one who handles that. Where did that money go? >_> hmmmm *suspecting*

  25. It's official! The doctor confirmed it! I'm pregnant!

Perhaps, but it doesn't hurt to try anyway. Your mom is right in trying to get you the cost free option. Definitely take the pampering! If this is your first, that explains the extreme overprotectiveness, LOL.

    3. BronxWench

      BronxWench

Exactly! My parents were the best when I was expecting my first. My mom and stepmom were so excited that my dad and I were betting on who'd try to be in the delivery room with me. :D

      Shunskitten

I don't wanna figure that one out with my mom! I'm pretty sure she'll kick my mother in law AND husband out LOL. I'm definitely enjoying the attention from her though, I never did get a lot so I'm being a bit selfish at this point :P Hopefully it stays right here, now my sister is another story. I may have to get a yard stick to keep her from literally glomping me.
