That's fine, especially if that's what works for you at the moment. I think you're just honing your already incredible superpower. (You know what happens to my brain just from reading different stories around the same time. ) Best of luck with NaNoWriMo too.

Although my smut writing has slowed substantially because of NaNoWriMo, it hasn't stopped all together -- mainly because it helps me cope with various stresses. But now my writing is in full chaos mode, meaning that I work on whatever I feel like working on at the moment, without much thought regarding what I want to finish next. It's likely that I will finish a thing or two this month, but I have no idea what they will be.
