Good catch! I added the tag.
I really tried to connect this chapter to the previous ones to give it that “culmination of everything” feel.
I liked the idea of Mia finding herself turned on by something unexpected, given how well she normally understands herself in that sense.
Thank you! I didn’t want to end in a “and then it just kept going on like that” kind of way; given that the penultimate chapter was about her worst day, which was pretty terrible, I wanted her best day to be correspondingly great. 

And now, some straight-up bragging. Someone at Hentai Foundry left this comment about the final chapter of Mia:
“This is the most touching, satisfying, heart-feel-good ending to a 'Chick with dick bangs her way through life' story I've ever read. I'm so happy.”

I actually wrote a Steven Universe fic (“Splinter”) in which something similar happens. A microscopic, silicon-based life form called the Splinter infects the characters and, among other things, enables them to experience what other infected people are experiencing. So when two or more infected people have sex, they can feel their own pleasure and one another’s. 
As for Lincoln’s older sisters sharing him with their friends: I’m not planning that for this story, but I am giving serious thought to doing a sequel in which Lincoln’s circle of sex partners expands beyond the family.

Just a quick update: The sixth and final chapter of Mia: Confessions of a Dickgirl is now posted. I’m very pleased with the ending, and JayDee, who has kindly betaed the whole story for me, seems to like it, too.

I’m not sure, but in the episode “Really Loud Music,” Lisa mentions that she’s “been known to dabble in the soft sciences.”

A long, long time ago, in what feels like another lifetime, I wrote a tribute piece for a dear friend who passed away.  The piece was for publication in the flyer for his memorial race.  Yesterday, his son, now my neighbor, stood in my yard, with tears in his eyes, thanking me for writing the piece, capturing what that part of his dad’s life was all about.  I didn’t sign the piece.  He just knew it was me.  He says he goes through his dad’s scrapbook every year, takes out that flyer, and smiles.
So for those of us who write, alone in the dark, with no idea who is reading, keep writing.  If your words only touch one person, you have succeeded!  Keep writing!

It’s been a productive week. Chapter 4 of Enter the Sandboy is now up, and chapter 6 of Mia is in beta.
In accordance with my self-imposed “finish two, start one” story, once chapter of Mia is up, I’ll post the first chapter of a new story fairly soon thereafter. Details to come.

Lori’s list is all the Loud girls who have hit puberty. But yes, it does seem a bit odd that every single one of them has a birth control implant, doesn’t it?
You had to scrape that cloud pretty hard to find the silver lining.
I enjoyed writing that bit. Can’t have a Loud House story without some laughs!
Now I can't help but wonder if the cruelly-physical day camp thing has some role in Lincoln's sudden popularity, though my instincts tell me that something is affecting his sisters as well, and since only some of them are involved in the torture camp that's likely not it. (If it turns out to be the grass then you can be damned sure I'll be re-seeding my lawn!)

Back to SWP1: In fact, I haven’t seen either of those trailers yet. I’ve spent most of my off time lately writing smut.  But I’m glad to see James Cameron back at the helm of a Terminator movie. Not that I think he’s infallible, but he’s got the best chance of producing a good Terminator movie after the string of bad ones that followed the original two (or three; the third one had its charms).

Sometimes I really like writing slow-burn stories like this. I think the gradual rise in how far things go adds realism while whetting the reader’s appetite for more. Of course, not every reader has the patience for that. (Sometimes I don’t either, which is how I end up writing straight-into-the-action stories like “The Small Hours” and “May’s Family.”)

Much progress to report. I expect to have both chapter 4 of Enter the Sandboy and chapter 6 of Mia: Confessions of a Dickgirl ready for beta this weekend. Also making steady headway on chapter 4 of Delta Delta Delta. 
In other news, I've just read the first two chapters of Regina by Lady Freelove. It's a fun saga of promiscuity and incest, told from the POV of the title character but with entertaining asides about her family's history and philosophy regarding sex.
