I've been accepted into college!!!

Overheard from my mum out the front: “DIE ya bugger!” Either that was a Jehovah Witness or a cockroach.

Signed the contract with Torquere Press. Now I get a day of two of euphoria before the editor brings me back down to reality!

Cram school for trucking is miserable. Everybody gets sick, but you still have to cram.

I'm still waiting for spring. It would be nice if it lasted for more than two days this year, but I'm sure we'll segue right into summer like we always do. ::sigh::

Waiting for test results for my first "baby" - an amazing horse who I've trusted not only with my life, but my kids. It may be time to say goodbye.

So my birthday yesterday was a thousand times better than last year. Last year I was in near tears and this year had a pretty good time. My mom is visiting and she baked me a cake got a few nice presents including a couple of nice necklaces. And I took a nap and didn't have to clean.

Regarding injecting her cat with insulin, my sister mispronounced subcutaneous as "sub-cuteness". I thought it fitting as one has to get past or "beneath" the cuteness to give a needle to a cat.

It sucks when no one likes your story. Feel like humming the "nobody likes me everybody hates me guess I'll go eat worms" song.

Went from 6-12 inches to 5-10, now we're between 5-12 and 10-20 inches. Where's spring?!

Saw a young 20's couple sitting at a table at an eatery, each with their phone in their hands, silently typing away. Really? That's what society has decended to, where people can't have face to face conversations anymore? Wouldn't be surprised if they were texting each other.

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day. But its back to rain, today. Well, at least it's not snow. *sorry for the dig*

I love mother nature! I got my wish to have snow for my birthday tomorrow! too bad it isnt enough to go sledding..but oh well!

I can never seem to decide if I like or despise my birthdays....

Happy New Year, AFF! My son thinks that if January could be considered the 13th month of the previous year, that we could get a date of 13/13/13. If it fell on a friday, even better. Funny thoughts from a 12 year old.

Well, got through December with no arguments.. 1st of the month and we argue.. The thing that sparked it? Doughnuts!
