I: Iason - Of Golden Fleece fame; Husband of Medea.

In Apollonius' poem 'Argonautica', Iason is killed when the stern of the rotting Argo, which he was sleeping under, falls from its perch, crushing him under its weight. A death of divine disfavor.

I liked very much that he died. It is fitting that in 'The Divine Comedy', Dante sees Jason in the eighth circle of Hell, among the seducers.
