I am back from seeing the Halloween remake.

I am normally not altogether fond of Mr. Zombie's moviemaking excesses.

I am, however, quite pleased with the job he has done on this film.

I am saying that it is more like a 50% prequel / 50% remake.

I am noting that the 'remake' half is especially good and faithful to the original, right down to the street where it was filmed.
