dazzledfirestar Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am running on caffeine. I am sure if I stop drinking coffee and diet coke, I will collapse. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am understanding Daz's situation. I am wishing there was something I could suggest that could take the place of the caffeine. I am thinking a good night's sleep would probably do the trick though. Quote
StoryJunkie Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am going to the bathroom I am sure I will lose no souls on the way. Quote
Nanaea Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am sunburned. I am not looking forward to going grocery shopping today. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am sore, tired, and not wanted to move. I am having to go rip up carpet to uncover the hard wood floors out at the new house. I am thinking the only good thing about that is the fact every one will leave me alone because they're afraid I'll put them to work. Quote
Guest Big Samurai Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am welcoming Mr. 'Trae and Ms. 'Naea back! I am anticipating a trip to Popeye's Chicken. I am stocking the bathroom with extra TP to prepare for the aftermath of said trip. I am lamenting my fondness for damn spicy chicken! Quote
Guest Madapple Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am going to see Shrek III today. I am eating a strawberry sorbet. I am wishing I lived near Popeye's. I miss the red beans and rice. I am wishing Big Sam a large canoster of air freshener, too. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 I am going to get to see Shrek 3 this week!! I am getting hubby's parents to baby-sit and going with a friend I haven't seen since before baby was born! I am kind of looking forward to getting out of the house for a few hours! Quote
NightScribe Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am laughing at Big Sam's Popeye's addiction I am imagining a six foot high stock pile of TP stacked along his bathroom wall I am sorry to hear that Nan is sunburnt I am pleased that the noisy, obnoxious, cow upstairs has been given the heave-ho and will be gone by the end of the month Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am back from the Booby Hatch and pleasantly tired. I am not promoting the use of a Weed Whacker to cut about an acre worth of grass. I am thinking that a riding lawn mower will be used for the other 5.5 acres. I am also wishing Big Sam luck with the aftereffects of Popeye's - and wishing the porceline luck in surviving said aftereffects I am also welcoming back our esteemed Trae and Nan - y'all were missed. Quote
Guest Big Samurai Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am observing that the toilet is intact (and not speaking to me). I am unable to say "No!" to Popeye's Chicken! I am intrigued that Shrek the 3rd has done so well at the box office. I am thinking that the Pirates will soon blow away all the records. I am shivering me timbers because it is cold in this room. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am sorry to hear that Big Sam's toilet isn't speaking to him. I am thinking such a situation would cause a riot in my house as it's one of the most used appliances in the household. I am off to work with a half-assed grin on my face due to nothing in particular. I am hoping everyone has a wonderful day. Quote
AmyMcClair Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am finished with my degree - I hope. I am sending in for the official evaluation on that matter, but I am crossing my fingers. I am also welcoming Trae and Nan back. I am recommending to Nan that she use lots of Aloe and/or Solarcaine. Quote
Nanaea Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am slathering tons of aloe on the burnt areas; it is helping slowly. Quote
AmyMcClair Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I am divulging the secret that Solarcaine is a spray (no touching necessary) that numbs the burn. I am a very big fan of that particular spray as I burn quite easily. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am also a huge fan of Solarcaine as I burn like a lobster if it's cloudy outside. I am also stating that Solarcaine saved my sanity last time I had stitches as it numbed the pain and kept it moisturized so it didn't scab over. Quote
Guest Big Samurai Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am prone to a farmer's tan. I am noting that it looks silly if one normally wears socks outdoors, which I do. I am trumpeting the virtues of brown legs and white feet! Quote
redsliver Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am back. I am looking forward to a night without traffic in and out of my place. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am looking forward to a night of having my SO back without having to deal with interruptions and traffic. I am smiling from ear to ear for the first time since last Wednesday. I am so happy I know I'll make someone sick with it. Quote
redsliver Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am watching Kids in the Hall's Brain Candy. I am not going to get to finish it tonight. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am a huge fan of Brain Candy! ("-Any side effects? -Yes, sir, a few side effects. -Well as long as there are no flipper babies. -Yes, sir, a few flipper babies.") Quote
redsliver Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am finding hugely nostalgic as I used to stay up and watch the show long before I was old enough to get the jokes. Well that and Bleu Nuit. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am letting Red know he is not alone on that one! Quote
redsliver Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I am assuming that was the whole part of being a kid in Canada during the 80's. Quote
