dazzledfirestar Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I am remembering those moms and thanking god I didn't have one. I am also pointing out that stage moms were worse. ("Well of course you didn't get the lead! You were flat half way through your audition piece and you weren't convincing as a cockroach!") I am aware that things can get pretty crazy, cheer wise in Texas though. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I am remembering the Cheerleader Mom story and shuddering as I know the moms of the other girls REALLY well. I am thinking that I should hide the shot gun. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I am thinking that's not a bad idea. I am admitting that there were a few moms (and their daughters ) that I would have like to have "gotten out of my way" when I was a cheerleader. I am sure I would have been much more creative about it though. Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am saying that someone "tripping" on the bleachers has been done before - and the person I know who did it got away with it. I am at all of the idiots out on the road today. I am wanting to know if they got their license south of the boarder I am letting you all know that I counted 3 (3!!!!) accidents on the 15 mile trek to the pizza buffet my Cheerleader just had to go to for dinner. I am also stating that my town's "Finest" didn't even direct traffic and one of those accidents happened to the car behind me when another idiot decided that they didn't have to wait their turn and slammed into them. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am sorry that Leon had to put up with stupid people who can't drive. I am off to make dinner for the grown ups... I am admitting that Grease is on tv too... so I'll see everyone later! Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am thinking I would much rather watch Grease (or even Grease 2) than sitting here on pins and needles to see who's kicked off of Dancing With the Stars. I am admitting with a huge grin on my face that this show is a guilty pleasure of mine. Quote
hardykitty Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 i am very confused right now i am fixing my sister keyboard too Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am remembering that Enrique Eglesias (?) can make my knees weak just from the sound of his voice. I am saying that "I Can Be Your Hero" has to be one of my all time favorite songs to kiss to.... Quote
Leonhart29 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am sending Hard Kitty my condolences. I am saying that fighting with my sister was never as much fun as watching my 2 daughters go at it. Quote
Nanaea Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am thanking Daz for my new avatar. I am off to bed. *waves goodnight to everyone* Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am saying "You're welcome!" to Nan. I am wondering how I could resist sending that one her way! I am trying to stay up until the next feeding time... which should be another hour or so. I am not sure I'll make it. Quote
StoryJunkie Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am and have been drooling over those avatars. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am informing SJ that she is not alone on that one! Quote
Nanaea Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am thinking that I should get some laundry and cleaning done today. Quote
redsliver Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am writing until my ride is done her class. I am finding I get my best work written on other people's computers. Quote
Hermione Malfoy Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am finding Nan's avator too sexy to be funny. Quote
StoryJunkie Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Am also I doing laundry...er...that came out kinda weird. Quote
redsliver Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am always more tired in the afternoons than at night. Quote
StoryJunkie Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am informing you there is this wave, you know...It occurs mostly around 2 pm. I am calling it "The Sleep Wave". And I am aware that everyone in the office yawns around then. I am sure it is related to Mexican siestas or childhood afternoon naps, or Bill Gates doing something screwy again. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am getting a moment to myself after a very fussy morning. I am thinking a 2pm nap might do me some good... I am sure I won't manage to get one. Quote
AmyMcClair Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am hoping that daz get the rest she needs. I am about to eat something that my friend has just called "slivers of bbq meat." I am wondering if Red has anything to do with this meat. Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am warning Amy that if Red did have something to do with it, you'll want to keep ten feet back at least. Quote
Guest Big Samurai Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I am fresh off a two-hour nap. I am unlikely to sleep well tonight, but that was going to happen, anyway. I am jamming to a video game soundtrack, as usual. Quote
