I am not a One Piece fan, and I think the dub is one of the absolute worst, but I do like the cast, particularly Nami. (I am noting that it is quite plausible to like the characters in a source while not liking the source itself; otherwise, I would have no fondness for Gundam Seed Destiny at all.) I am observing that Red has traded his Blaster Master theme for box art from the U.S. release of Dragon Warrior (avatar), including the Official Nintendo Seal on the front, as well as a screen shot from the first part of the game itself (sig). I am approving of the Dragon Warrior homage. I am, however, still rather sore that the actual game took me years to beat, mostly because getting from Level 19 to Level 20 -- and then plowing through Castle Charlock and beating the Dragonlord -- is a bitch, and I have no desire to repeat that. I am thinking I may not have been the only one with a problem with her. I am now sitting in my living room listening to hubby work out old tv theme songs on his guitar.
