Cannot create forum account

Hiya! 

After my issues activating an Archive account were resolved, it looks like I’m still having some trouble creating a forum account. The error I’m getting is:

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.
Error code: EX0

I’ve made sure I’m entering the correct profile URL and pen name (Amallah), and I’ve cleared cache/cookies and tried in a different browser and device, but no luck. Anything else I can try, or is this a server error that has to be looked at?

Our Forum admin, @Melrick, needs to approve all forum registrations. He’s actually in Australia, so his active times at AFF are almost the opposite of mine here in the US. Hopefully, he’ll be able to take a look and let you know what’s going on.

There’s nobody waiting for approval, so it hasn’t gone through.  I have a feeling there’s a problem with the forum software, to be honest.  I can see a bunch of errors in the system logs.  I’m going to notify DG about this and see if she has any ideas.  Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Yeah, the error comes as I'm hitting submit, so that makes sense!

This has to do with our system migration.  We are getting a better server.  Migration should be done end of day today
