Locked out of archive account after updating to a gmail address

A few days ago I updated the email address I use to log in to my archive account to a gmail address and never received an activation email, so now I'm locked out of my account. I know there are currently issues with the site not sending emails to gmail addresses and it's no problem if I have to wait until it’s sorted out, but I was just wondering if there's anything else I can do to get back into my account before then?
