Guest Anonymous Posted March 11, 2018 Report Posted March 11, 2018 Someone has stolen a real person's identity at this link. http://members.adult-fanfiction.org/profile.php?no=1296981339. The original person never has been on this website at all and me being a close friend of the victim currently not in knowledge of this knows that now with proof. https://www.facebook.com/lou.melideo Quote
BronxWench Posted March 11, 2018 Report Posted March 11, 2018 We need a report from the person in question before we can delete the alleged stolen account. We have had instances of people claiming an account was stolen when in fact they were seeking to injure the account holder. The person can email admin@adult-fanfiction.org with proof, which should include more than a link to a Facebook page. Quote
DemonGoddess Posted April 24, 2018 Report Posted April 24, 2018 The person has been deleted. All instances of the account have been deleted. Not because of an identity theft issue, as I can’t find where that’s actually occurred, but because of the use of disposable email addresses. We don’t allow that. Now, if the person who was allegedly having his/her identity stolen reported it, and then provided proof besides a facebook page (which can EASILY be faked), I’d have something more to go on, for identity theft.
