Guest TheBossMan Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 By which I mean, via email or something... Quote
CL Mustafic Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 There isn't a way to do that. But you can always ask the author if they have a mailing list and if they do have them add you too it. Quote
BronxWench Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 Lots of authors do updates via Twitter and Facebook as well, or post update information on other blog sites like Tumblr. Your best bet is to check the author profile, and see if they list any sites where they post updates. If the author posts updates in our Promote a Story thread, you can follow that author's topic, and get email notifications that way. Aside from all that, all you can do is do what CL recommends, and ask the author. Quote
Guest BlackFalcon Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 I’d prefer a way to follow stories and/or authors like they have at FanFiction.Net or favorite update email like eFiction-powered archives (ie. Harry Potter Fanfic Archive) do. Quote
BronxWench Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 To be honest, I’m not sure if that’s something our coding permits, even with the recent changes. It’s something many of our members would like to see, and we’re well aware of that. Quote
DemonGoddess Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 Our software never DID allow for that, but it’s something we’ve been looking at as far as how to incorporate it. Mind you, just like many other things, this is something that would be coded from scratch. Quote
