How-where to write stories / underage character

Totally new here and to the main site. Where do we post stories? And how. And what are the rules pertaining to under-age characters? Fiction, not real of course.

First of all, welcome!

All stories are posted in the archive. The first step is to decide what subdomain your story belongs in, since we have 22 subdomains, each of which has subcategories. You'll see those listed on the left side of your Archive home page, and also on the left side of your Control Panel.

The how of it is stepped out here, complete with handy screenshots. In fact, our entire FAQ thread is full of useful information.

Fictional characters under 18 are permitted, as long as the story has the correct codes. For characters up to the age of 13, that code is Minor1. For characters from 14 to legal age (18), the code is Minor2. For more codes, look here. And for our Content Guidelines, look here.
