Story about Stockholm syndrome M/M

I have tried to find this story for hours.
It's a bit old story so I don't probably remember things correctly.

The boy/young man was kidnapped because he looked a bit like his late husband. He was scared and the kidnapper at some point breaks his arm, which didn't heal correctly. Kidnapper also got him a dog (labrador, if I remember right). The kidnapping was exposed by the kidnapper's brother or a friend who thought that somethings not right.

Kidnapper didn't use the guy's real name. And the kidnapped played baseball at park/field when the kidnapper noticed him for the first time.
In the end of the story kidnapper sends a letter to the boy from the jail where he apologized for the kidnapping and told about his late husband.

I hope someone recognizes this story.
