pippychick Posted March 25, 2016 Author Report Posted March 25, 2016 Beautifully done, just superb. Elrond's happiness in the beginning of the chapter is the sweet counterpart to the sharpness of the sorrow that waited for him in the Greenwood. As strong as he is, Legolas does need that closure Thranduil isn't ready to give, and Thranduil needs to come to terms with his love for legolas in balance with his need not to lose another elf his loves. Even if it means taking Thraduil to the edge, I think only Elrond could give this release, and relief, to Thranduil. I have to admit, I'm eager to see how far our Peredhil has come, and where Legolas will fit in this particular bit of healing. So beautifully done... Oh, thank you so much, Bronx! I think Thranduil and Legolas are certain to have that talk at last, though whether we will get to see it, I don't know. I suspect Elrond will respect their privacy. As for taking Thranduil to the edge, I think he does need that, and Elrond is aware of it. I only hope I can write the scene the way it needs to be written. It's important for more than what has transpired here. Quote
pippychick Posted March 26, 2016 Author Report Posted March 26, 2016 I always love having a chapter of this story to read before bed time. This one was a bit sad, to learn of Thranduil's need but also it made me happy to know that he loves Legolas so much and hopeful that he will express that love to let him know how important he is to him. What a good thing that Elrond showed up when he did, Thranduil needs... something and I can't wait to read that something in the next chapter. Good job once again! CL Thank you, CL! I hope your night time reading gives you pretty dreams of elves! Things will improve between Thranduil and Legolas after this, never fear. The next scene will be heavy. Fair warning. But with any luck I'll have some nice fluffy stuff to put at the end of it, and a rather uncomfortable confession will be forced from Elrond. He's really going to try and get out of it, but there's no escape... You'll probably have had your Legolas sandwich by then Quote
pippychick Posted March 28, 2016 Author Report Posted March 28, 2016 In a word, exquisite. I will never be able to forget the flawless music of your prose, and the delicacy of the evil you unleash, nor would I want to forget. Sauron is, as ever, darkness made flesh, vicious and contrary, the master of all lies. But Maglor, gods, he is extraordinary. He retains a curious innocence despite it all, and it makes every violation all that more dreadful to see. So terribly, tragically broken, and yet, yes. He still hopes, and he still loves. I can't imagine a more refined torment. Even that moment when he simply stops, and waits for death... he is still beyond remarkable. I bow to your talent, my dearest Pip. You have surpassed my darkest dreams. Thank you so much for your compliments, Bronx! As you can imagine, the fight scene was the main thing here, and it was one of those moments I remember from writing Fallen. ME: “I won't write that.” SAURON-MUSE: “Oh, yes, you will.” Maglor. I feel terribly guilty for causing him so much anguish, but they just do work. Somehow they work together. He'll forever be with Sauron in my imagination, poor sod. It's no place to live. Though this time when I lock the box on that particular muse I may well throw away the key. I'm glad I managed to make it readable. It really never starts off readable. Quote
BronxWench Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 The fight scene was utterly wrenching, given the game Sauron plays with poor Maglor, but I couldn't see it happening any other way. Sauron is incapable of of anything else, really, and Maglor still could not bring himself to surrender. I imagine Fallen resulted in a great many of those conversations... Quote
pippychick Posted March 28, 2016 Author Report Posted March 28, 2016 I imagine Fallen resulted in a great many of those conversations... It was heavy... but not for the scenes you might think. Torture scene, ok... the healing afterwards, that had me reticent for days. Quote
pippychick Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 Okay so you were right, this was dark and depressing and I feel so much for poor Maglor. But you were wrong in thinking it's too much and that people shouldn't read it because it only made me want to go back and find the other story with this pairing and if not for you and BW raving about TAFKAB's new story, I would have done just that last night. Maybe tonight... CL Thank you, CL Poor Maglor, indeed. But when I write these two, there's always that something between them, where they almost meet. They're addicted to each other, and it's never quite enough, always just a half step short of satisfaction. That's how it feels to write. Maybe I will stop trying to save you from 'Fallen' then. Or maybe I will try to save you, and write something much more light-hearted and pretty for you to read before bed. I have a piano lesson today, but I'll see what I can manage with the remaining time. Quote
DemonGoddess Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I have to go back and reread all of your stuff (old), and then read all your new stuff!!! I'm FINALLY getting some light at the end of the time tunnel!!! Quote
pippychick Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 You've been needing those shifts to change for a long time, I think, DG... happy reading! Quote
pippychick Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 I think you are turning ME into the lustful young thing. X-D The more I read of this, the lustier I get! I could almost decide I'm 20 again while I'm reading these. ;-) Seriously, this was so hot and good. I love how Elrond takes over moving Legolas.... that just makes me melt into a happy little puddle. Thranduil is such a gorgeous, naughty boy! And the way they tease and play just shows how much love they all have... and he damn well knows it even if Elrond wants to be a prude So beautiful, mmmmmmmmm.... thank you SO MUCH for this! It made my day. Thank you so much for this wonderful review! Considering your own work *coughs* "Again, lass..." if I made you melt into a puddle I'll be happy for all the year long! Elrond just needs a bit of gentle encouragement. He'll need more when there are three of them, but I'm sure he'll get with it eventually. Thranduil is very naughty... I might have to write some Oropher/Thranduil at some point. Try them out, even if it's *gasp* gen fic (sorry for swearing). They have a lot of love for each other. I adore writing the elves this way, all tangled and never truly mean-spirited. Even if Tolkien would hate it. It's a utopia. With lots of sex. Quote
pippychick Posted March 30, 2016 Author Report Posted March 30, 2016 Pen maelui indeed. I'm fairly sure that applies to all of them equally, these gorgeous, wanton elves. Why is it the forbidden, in their hands, becomes entirely desirable and beguiling? I will confess, I'm looking forward to seeing Oropher join the fun. The resulting rightness will make Middle Earth implode, I think. Bronx, thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I am a bit caught on this Thranduil/Legolas stuff, I must admit. And, when I have time, I may plan out a fic just for them away from the Teacherverse. It's kind of irresistible, and I don't know why either. I'm sure it's not just because they're all pretty. Unless I am far more shallow than I tell myself. That is of course possible too, lol When Oropher joins the fun, it will be spectacular. You can well imagine I've been busy testing out bits and pieces of it, seeing how he fits with them all... I've written many threesomes, it's kind of interesting to have four characters' drives and motivations and mannerisms to play with. Quote
pippychick Posted March 31, 2016 Author Report Posted March 31, 2016 Okay, I read this twice but I'm only leaving one review... Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so happy that this one was for me, it was perfect. The fact that it was just Thranduil's fantasy somehow made it even better and even in his fantasy, Elrond is still a bit prudish which made me snicker a little. I can't wait for more of these three together and now my imagination is running wild of thoughts of a foursome with Oropher. You make me wish I could write about naughty elves but I can't so I guess I'll just have to feed your lusty muse. CL Thank you, CL! And you are very welcome Just a fantasy, yes – for now. Later on... they're definitely heading somewhere like this. I've no doubt Elrond will try to remain sensible, but he'll find that quite difficult to maintain. It will be fun when Oropher joins in. I imagine that Elrond will do absolutely anything to ensure the Mirkwood Three don't start on each other in this way, which would keep him rather busy. And by the end of it, completely insensible. And thoroughly... exhausted. Forever and ever. lol I keep having this amusing little vision of him finally managing to escape The Bedroom at some point well into the fourth age, almost crawling, and people outside greeting him like: “Elrond! You are here. I didn't know you'd made it!” Quote

pippychick Posted April 4, 2016 Author Report Posted April 4, 2016 Oh, how hard that was for Elrond, and how profound a healer he is. I love how Thranduil is as fragile as he is powerful. That is so deeply moving, to see the very depths of his love, for Legolas and for Elrond. I can't say I blame him for wanting to keep Legolas safe, but it is no longer his place, and Elrond did what was needed. Legolas has his own fate. In truth, the whipping really was secondary to the healing that it represented. As Elrond broke down every bit of Thranduil's resistance, he was healing. Each blow was a benison, and I do believe Thranduil and Elrond will be the closer for it. As ever, your writing is gorgeous, and your elves intoxicating. Thank you! Thank you so much, Bronx! I am so glad to hear it came across well: Elrond's reluctance and Thranduil's vulnerability. I'm very happy I didn't weaken Thranduil's character while showing it. Yes, it was healing. Whatever depression Thranduil was sinking into, Elrond has pulled him right out of it. But they need each other, and I really like that about them. They're very equal right now, despite all of the games, and despite this heavier scene. It's been a long time coming. Again, thank you! *is pleased as punch* Quote
pippychick Posted April 5, 2016 Author Report Posted April 5, 2016 I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about the whipping part but you did it wonderfully and I enjoyed reading it. The scene afterward was so packed with emotion that I could almost feel it radiating from the page, they really do love each other deeply. Oh and as always the sex was hot! CL Thank you, CL I'm very glad it worked for you. There didn't seem much point in dwelling on the purely painful physical aspects of this. The meaning behind it was more important. Description only makes it in when it makes a point. I decided in the end to mute it quite a lot, and let the contrast of the charged scene afterwards carry all the weight of what has passed between them. Like Elrond does at the end, I will count it as a success! Thank you. Some comedy will be making an appearance soon... if that makes it in. I hope it does. Quote
pippychick Posted April 5, 2016 Author Report Posted April 5, 2016 Elrond was absolutely made for this, for an eternity of such afternoons. Honestly, the Greenwood Three are just irresistible, and wicked, and delicious. There are always moments when I wonder if Elrond will last, but then I remember who trained him so well. But it's very true. Every day here was pleasant. Lovely, lovely elf porn... Thank you, Bronx Well, I may have taken some liberties with Elrond's endurance, but I am glad it still works well enough. Who would dare disobey dom!Thranduil? He loves it really, for all his protestations. Quote
pippychick Posted April 6, 2016 Author Report Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) This was the perfect bedtime story! I love how Elrond still has reservations about things when he's been with them all so many times before, but I suppose never all three at once. I can't wait for more of them all together. CL Thank you, CL Glad you enjoyed it! My Elrond muse informs me he'll always have reservations about the three of them, especially if they're egging each other on in some nefarious activity that involves him being helpless to stop them. pippychick Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) Oh, Thranduil... you beautiful, daft elf. How could you think Elrond would ever hurt you? You tease him, and torment him, but he loves you as deeply as you love him, and he would never hurt you, or Legolas. It's not in Elrond at all. It's why you love him so much, and trust him, and why he trusts you. And Galion... Oh, my, what a delicious little surprise you are. But I'm glad there is another elder elf to watch over Thranduil for Elrond, and to watch over Legolas, too, it seems. And possibly Elrond himself, when he needs it? Thank you, Bronx! Thranduil is a bit daft, but he's been in a bad way, and he's been remembering all those long years of denial from Elrond, bless him. Though I suspect he's going to have some real fun with Elrond now. His heart will be in his throat everytime Thranduil and Legolas turn up at Imladris. Galion, I just couldn't help myself. He's just been happily going around in Middle Earth, doing exactly what he wants. I almost feel sorry for Thranduil, lol. I like the idea he is always there. They are quite isolated. I mean, really, journey times are quite harsh, aren't they? Edited April 7, 2016 by dafdes Quote
BronxWench Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Huh! Teaches me to try typing html code when I'm dead tired. I'll re-review without the screwup. Quote
pippychick Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 You should hear me curse once I've posted here, and then have to add html for other sites. I curse myself then, for letting them speak any sindarin at all. Quote
pippychick Posted April 8, 2016 Author Report Posted April 8, 2016 Okay so Elrond just opened a whole new can of worms... and I am glad he did because I just have a feeling Thranduil will push this issue now. Can't wait to see where this goes now. CL Thank you, CL! Yes, he has given Thranduil a whole new range of ideas to think on... just as soon as he can convince Legolas it's a good idea to have their 'teacher' both together. And, just like he couldn't hold back the admission, Elrond is also going to heal the relationship between father and son, which will enable them agree upon it. Thranduil is wicked, Legolas is playful. Elrond has had it, really. Quote
pippychick Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 So, someone has been reading my back catalogue of Sauron/Maglor fiction. This pleases Sauron, who is rubbing his hands together in glee, certain that he will be allowed to wreak havoc again before long. Okay so I should really have reviewed every chapter but I just kept reading. LOL I love this, I know it's dark and I shouldn't but I do.Maglor is so beautiful in his suffering and the fact that he thinks he deserves it just kills my heart. I really do hope you come back to this because if The Hook is sort of a oneshot of how this all ends (or somewhere in the middle of it even) I want to know how they get to that point.CL Thank you very much for this On an unrelated aside we seem to know more now than we did back when I was writing Sauron and Maglor a lot. Out of a handful of potentials I chose 'Aulendil' as Sauron's true name. It appears I now need to change all of those references to 'Mairon' which is easily done. And it amuses me because then not only is this pairing S&M... it's also M/M. lolThe only way to tell how they get to that point in 'The Hook' is to write it all down. I have been thinking about this for a good few weeks now. See how you feel at the end of 'Fallen' if you make it there. I'm quite serious. Sauron as a character is completely inhuman, and the tortures Maglor faces are not for the faint of heart (I am including myself in that). Okay so I only got through one and a half chapters of this so for the first chapter, really well done. I could feel Legolas's fear and then his revulsion at the way he was being used. Like I told you I'm really surprised to find that you wrote an mpreg story, and this will be the first I've ever read... I'll let you know how that goes. CL Thank you again! A few things make me cringe about this. One, it's mpreg, and I really couldn't disentangle that from the plot once I decided to make the arc into a standalone story. Two, this was written more than ten years ago, and I like to think I've improved somewhat since then. Three, there are canonical errors that grate on me. And four, I am sure if I could bear to face it, I could rewrite this better. Improved. But it is what it is.Please! Do read the warnings. There are some additional warnings on particular chapters. I am not giving the game away, but if the intention behind my younger self's clumsy writing comes through, this is a scary story. I mean it's horrific. I've never read an mpreg story like it. And I for one will not let this worry me about Legolas, even though I wrote it. Sauron wants to win, and that desire goes far beyond Maglor, beyond the weird mpreg theme. It's the only way I could write it. I'm sorry.Lastly, I think I've finished apologising. Except to say that even for me, as the author, the story doesn't begin properly until Legolas comes across Maglor playing the harp. Maglor was supposedly a harp player, singer and storyteller of some renown before the tragedy of the oath. Quote
pippychick Posted April 18, 2016 Author Report Posted April 18, 2016 I'm breaking my rule and reviewing on my kindle because seriously poor Legolas even the woods is having its way with him. How much worse can it get for him? CL Thank you, CL Erm, unfortunately for poor Legolas, quite a lot worse... Poor bugger... Quote
pippychick Posted April 20, 2016 Author Report Posted April 20, 2016 Okay I made it to chapter 7. Wow I was not expecting Maglor to play a part in this! Well I guess sort of but not such a big one at least. I was happy when he and Legolas spent time together but just knew it wouldn't last and that it would end badly. Oh my god! Seriously, Maglor you ass! I know he had to do it but did he have to enjoy torturing poor Legolas? I feel so bad for Legolas and Maglor, I know he's damaged and all but urrrgh, I want to punish him myself now. This is a vicious, nasty game Sauron is playing with them and I don't think there will be any survivors... at least not in the form they once were. This is good, can't wait to get the time to read a few more chapters. Is it bed time yet? CL Thank you for this review, CL! Maglor will play any part Sauron allots him, unfortunately for Legolas. Maglor has been alone with Sauron for millennia by this point. And I will stop there so as not to give anything away... If you want him to be punished, you'll certainly get your wish. Poor Maglor It is a vicious game. They're the only games Sauron likes to play. He's a really nasty piece of work. I promise that both Maglor and Legolas will be alive at the end. That's all I promise. It's not as much as you might think. And I'm stuck for anything else to say without giving things away, except to say thank you again, and I hope you like reading the rest. I'll ready that document, lol, since it looks like you might make it to the end. But there are still surprises. We shall see. Quote
pippychick Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Posted April 22, 2016 Up to chapter 10 now. Poor Maglor, he's jealous and has to follow the rules but then damn Legolas has to go and run away. Sauron is scary and his other form gave me nightmares, thank you very much. So Maglor sings his heart out and still ends up being thrown to the prisoners? Not fair Sauron, not fair! I did love the image of Maglor leaning his head and hands on the door at the same time as Sauron doing it on the other side, I don't think Sauron loves punishing Maglor in that way as much as he leads him to believe he does. So Legolas, I'm sure, will be found and then what? You best get your smutty thinking cap on because I'm so going to finish this in the next few days. CL Thank you for this review too! Legolas has run away – how could he not? I have been told Sauron's vampire form (as I've written it) is quite frightening. Sorry about the nightmares there. Poor Maglor, in his golden elf-sized cage. Like a canary. And still he has to face more. Hmm... Sauron doesn't love punishing Maglor that way at all, since it deprives him of Maglor's service. My Sauron muse assures me it would more unfair to deprive Maglor of this punishment, and that such would only confuse him. Like mercy. Legolas will be found. Erm... that's not pretty either. Oh, you have a long way to go, lol, we shall see, but if you have any particular request in mind, get it in then I'll let my brain work on it and see what happens. Quote
pippychick Posted April 25, 2016 Author Report Posted April 25, 2016 Right. Well. Between the image of Thranduil in a corset made of linen wrappings, and Elrond playing dragon as he and Legolas read a very wanton fairytale, I'm quite dizzy with delight. My line for this chapter: “Yes. Rest, Elrond,” Thranduil said, his voice deepening. “Weary traveller, friend, lover, Master, elder, Lord, warrior, healer...” Wicked, wicked King of Eryn Galen... and so very delicious, too. And still poor Elrond deludes himself into thinking he can decide when he'll be willing to divide his attention. I don't think he's quite reckoned with his beautiful lovers, has he? Lovely, as ever! Thank you so much, Bronx! Thranduil is such an awful tease at times. And he still enjoys pushing Elrond right to the end of his considerable patience. That story! I knew it was used as some kind of erotic aid, and after several failed attempts at writing it I became so desperate I had to write myself an interview with Elrond and Oropher to see if they would tell me what it was about. Just before Oropher realised where he was, and jumped on Elrond, he told me about the dragon. In the end, Thranduil always gets what he wants, and he is focused on this sharing thing now. Elrond has no chance whatsoever. Quote
