Review responses for "Candace's Perfect Body" (Phineas and Ferb)

Because I posted this story long before I'd ever heard of review response threads, I responded to the first several comments on this story with a comment of my own. For the sake of completeness, I'll post that comment here first:

coldfang66: Thanks VERY much for your reviews of this story and "Rated F." Being true to the characters is extremely important to me, and it's very nice to have the validation.
Aysha: Hope you got my PM via the discussion board. Thanks again.
Wheatherman: Thanks. I can kind of see what you mean about the "common sense" thing, but there IS precedent for Candace hearing voices (or at least one voice) in her head. More importantly, I needed a substitute for Stacy, who is Candace's de facto common sense.
Anon #1: Check out the in-progress "Truth or Dare 2.0".
Anon #2: Thanks!
andrewmyles: Thanks very much. I don't feel like it's a real Candace story if there isn't a Valuable Lesson at the end. Even if it's cheesy. And I hope the story is adequately fappable. :)

Fairy-Slayer:

It's a fun and sexy little tale with adventure plenty even if it stays in one room.

I actually sort of imagined this story as a stage play with a single set.

A light setup made for a fun intro that got out of the way quickly. Then your description of future Candace put an image in my mind that rivals pretty much ever piece of fanart I've ever seen of her.

Sadly, this is not actually what Future-Candace looks like (per "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo")--hence the whole nerdy discussion about interference from the future and an alternate timeline.

No wonder Linda was so drawn to her and was tempted to do very naughty things with her little girl. For a moment I wondered if she'd had any desire for women at all until Stacy came in and proved it wonderfully.

A lot of that was a side effect. Candace's new body is so responsive to sexual stimulation that it doesn't much care where that stimulation is coming from.

Nice explanation of how keeping her head turned away from Candace let her get out from under the spell, and thankfully (for their friendship's sake) left the memories of the encounter behind.

Thanks! I needed some way of not Changing Everyone's Lives Forever.

The visit from Jeremy was terrific, especially as Candace decided to go ahead. I can understand her getting caught up in the heat of the moment and then realizing the consequences afterwards. What's sweet and scary was her thinking about how she'd used him, even if not intentionally, to fulfill her fantasies, and then the pregnancy fear was another way to raise tension. Thank goodness there was an off switch to the effects and Jeremy won't remember. Now I have to wonder what would happen when they finally got to that point of their relationship. Something fun to muse over. :)

I think they would handle it all with considerably more maturity and good sense. And by they, I mean Jeremy. :)

One thing about the inator though: Heinz should build and sell a handful of them because I'd pay just about any price and I'm sure he'd make a fortune. Charlene would be happy too if he didn't need alimony anymore and could pay for all his building repairs himself.

And if Heinz had the sense God gave spearmint gum, he'd do that very thing. :)

Thanks.

Thank you!

Ok. So this first chapter does a very good job of setting up what is to come. I know im a bit late reviewing this, but it's still a good read. I hope you do another Candace centered story some time in the future
Thanks! Yes, after "Danville, We Have a Problem" is complete, next up is the Candace-centric "Tri-Date Area" (that's the working title, anyway), in which Candace attempts to kindle a 3-way romance with Jeremy and Stacy.

As strange as this is going to sound, I was actually hoping for a bit more Candace x Linda. Just something to maybe consider for a future story.
Nothing strange about that at all! I would certainly consider a Candace/Linda thing if I could think of a way to make it happen, but as I told another reader who wrote to me on that very subject, I would have to have a really plausible explanation for it.
However, the mental image you painted of Candace more than made up for it, and Stacy is very hot in her own right, so in the end this chapter was still a solid 8/10

I'm good with that rating. And with Candace and Stacy getting it on. :)

While this ending wasn't as hot or erotic as your other tales, that doesn't detract from this story at all. Its a very sweet tale, with a very clear message that looks arent everything, and that when you find the right person, they will love you for you and not what cup size you wear. Like I said before, I do hope for another Candace centered story sometime in the future, but thats just me. You know that whatever you write, I will be there to read it.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I realized that because Candace got her new body from the Thing-I-Want-inator, the only way she could get her own body back would be not to want the new one anymore, so she eventually had to discover that it carried some major disadvantages.
