Leonhart29 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Okay - how about Snow White and the Seven pricks? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Wouldn't they have to be very small pricks? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Have you ever seen some of the pictures of those Dwarfs and their not so dwarfish pricks? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 It's an interesting sight to behold - Dopey's anything but. Aren't all fairy tales erotica in disguise? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 I agree... but, Would Disney agree? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Maybe not Walt - but I'm sure some of the big wigs now a days would. Have you ever seen the dirty cover for the Little Mermaid? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Yes, I did... and do, every time I look at the video collection. Do you think I could sue for emotional damages? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Probably not. Are you going to try anyway though? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Probably not. Do you think you'd get a new pair of cement shoes and a new residence at the bottom of the lake if you did? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Probably. Does Disney have mob connections? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Not one little bit. Does that mean that the Disney Princesses are really mob princesses?? Quote
quamp Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 I can't picture Cinderella mowing down people with an M-16. If it is true, does that mean that we have to pay them "protection" money? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 The kiddies always have to have the movies. Feels like a racket, doesn't it? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 Very much so - but we dig in our pockets for it don't we? Quote
dazzledfirestar Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 Of course. How did they convince us to do that? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 They made the movies attractive to kids and they begged for it. Aren't begging kids enough? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 Actually, they tend to be rather expensive. Do you think it would be wrong to duct tape them to the wall? Quote
redsliver Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 Only if the wall was outdoors and they were oriented upside down. Where do theatres actually bar entry for outside concessions? Quote
Guest echtrae Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 The one that was near where I grew up used to bar you from bringing in your own stuff. Would you read the book after watching the movie? Quote
Leonhart29 Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 Yup - just to see how they fucked it up. Is that just looking for trouble? Quote
quamp Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Only if it's "Road to Perdition." (Author of the book authored the comic it was based on. He was told to "strictly follow the script, no additions whatsoever.") Do you think it's a bad idea for a film company to tell the creator of a fandom he can't write things to explain plot holes in the novelization of the movie? (This really happened to another movie novel author.) Quote
Guest echtrae Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I think he should have negotiated a better deal. If you ever get published, would you sell all of your rights to a movie company? Quote
redsliver Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Only to Films Without Rhythm. If I'm a founding member of the movie company I'm selling to, will I get a discount? Quote
