redsliver
Probably. Will it be held against me?
Leonhart29
Probably. But isn't there something else you'd like held against you?
Guest echtrae
There certainly is, but she's upstairs yelling at the kids. Do you think I should go up there and help her?
Leonhart29
Only if you want to be a white knight and get some tonight. Do you think that would work?
Guest echtrae
Not likely tonight. But should that stop me?

Guest echtrae
Yes. Have you ever heard the story about Edison and the light bulb?
redsliver
The one where he stole the patent from some college kid and then sent a bunch of goons to beat up the Jews?
Guest echtrae
I hadn't heard that one. I was thinking more along the lines of the story that he had invented nearly 1000 different light bulbs before he came up with one that worked. Or is that just the PR story? redsliver
PR, Edison was smart, very smart, but almost all of his inventions were made by his staff he just claimed the patents. The attacks on Jews, specifically those that were trying to use celluloid film without paying ridiculous prices, is the reason why Hollywood is out west rather than in New York. You need an electrical engineer to look up to, you go to Tesla. Are we informed yet?
Guest echtrae
Well, I've known about and have admired the mad genius that was Tesla for many years. So I suppose so. Shall we talk about a less serious topic now?
Leonhart29
Sure. What did you have in mind?

redsliver
Are we talking electrochemical, artillery or assault here?
Guest echtrae
I was thinking electrochemical. Would you rather talk about different kind of batteries?
redsliver
No I'm in my element with electrochemistry. What's your element?

redsliver
Yeah, I was expecting Tungsten. Oops, should I have said gold?
Leonhart29
Not necessarily. Earth has a lot of gold in it - doesn't it?
redsliver
minute amounts actually, why its so valuable. Earth's got mostly silicon, iron and nickel in it. Any of those fit you?
Leonhart29
Not as well as gold or silver. But you knew I was a pricey bitch - didn't you?
redsliver
I hadn't seen any evidence of that to be honest. Did I miss the hint?
