quamp Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Neither actually. It's a bit more expensive than sheet rock, and just as easy to hang. It's trying to add a touch of class to a house, kind of in the way a plastic pink flamingo does to a trailer. Is there anything that says trailer park trash more than a plastic pink flamingo in the yard?
Leonhart29 Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Add a couple of non working cars and you have yourself a redneck paradise. Do you think that everyone who lives in a trailer is trash?
redsliver Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 No, but I love the show anyways. You weren't talking about Bubbles, Ricky and Julian, were you?
Leonhart29 Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 No I wasn't - because I've never seen it. What exactly is Bubbles, Ricky and Julian?
dazzledfirestar Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 They are one of Canada's national treasures! The Trailer Park Boys! Have you never seen the show?
redsliver Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 All of it short of season 7 actually. May I send Shadowcat out for chicken chips and pepperoni?
quamp Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Sure, but make sure she has enough money to get it. Do you think we Texans are missing out on something great here?
dazzledfirestar Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Absolutely! It's a great show... and they are very amusing live as well. Have you heard Bubbles' song that he did with Axl Rose? (It's called "Liquor and Whores", btw, if anyone wants to look it up.)
redsliver Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Cig'rettes and dope and mustard and balogne and liquor and whores! Ever drank at a legion?
redsliver Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 A veteran's bar with cheap liquor though they tend to close at 12 and for some reason every time I'm at one its rather sketchy. Sounds like fun, don't it?
dazzledfirestar Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Absolutely. I love going to the legion with my dad! Can't get the liquor any cheaper, and you get some amazing stories from those old guys! Shouldn't everyone drink with the old folks at least once?
redsliver Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Damned right, they have the best drunken stories. Will you have the best drunken stories when you're an old timer?
dazzledfirestar Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Of course! Will you share them with the young 'uns?
quamp Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Drunken stories aren't that much fun unless you're shitfaced drunk. So should we wait until they're 21 or so?
StoryJunkie Posted May 24, 2007 Author Report Posted May 24, 2007 well, or 19 The age of reason is 7 isn't it?
dazzledfirestar Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 No, but you can come to Canada and get drunk. Isn't that better?
Guest echtrae Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 If I was 16, probably. Am I too old to get the point of it anymore?
Guest echtrae Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Some mornings I do. does that make me old?
dazzledfirestar Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Only on those mornings. Is there a cure for old-age?
redsliver Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 I suppose transferring your brain into another body might work. But by trading glands wouldn't you be combining your thoughts with the donor's emotions?
