I need to find this fic desperately. It was SasuNaru but only fleetingly Help?

Unfortunately the details of this particular work escape me, but I remember it was the only piece of fanfiction to ever successfully make me cry. I bawled like a little kid. It was a masterpiece. I absolutely must read it again!

It was SasuNaru, and the author also had a version of the story where any pairing was totally absent. There was no sex but for one "fade to black" scene. I believe it began with Sasuke returning to Konoha but I could be wrong. The story followed the evolution of their relationship as Naruto gradually lost his hold on the Kyuubi. It also resembled the manga in that the author wrote from the perspectives of all the characters involved and even switched between them during battle sequences. The story ended with the phrase "and all he saw was red" when Naruto finally lost control of the Kyuubi.

Help? I have searched and searched but nothing.
