Not directly but I've bought dinner, movie tickets, flowers, and more for the express purposes of having sex.

I have never seriously equated that to prostitution.

I haven't either - but I did ask my Dad once... you don't want to know what he came back with either.

I have never been embarassed when the cute guy behind the counter calls over the loud speaker "Hay Hal! I need a price check on Anybrand Maxi Pads on register 2" (and yes - that has happened before)

I have. It's a nice place to visit, but foreigners may not want to live here for long periods of time.

(BTW, watashi wa chotto nihongo ga wakarimasu. That's Japanese for "I understand a little Japanese. I've also turned down lobster - considering that the lobster available here in landlocked Dallas isn't quite the same as what you can get in the maritime provinces.)

Most of my life I have, there was only a few years outside of Canada in Australia.

I have never liked Coke or Pepsi.
